This is a very nice and thick curtain with a black backing that really does seem to help block the heat. My sliding glass door takes full afternoon sun and my kitchen is boiling all the time. Since hanging this, there is a noticeable difference with the head and does a great job blocking the light. I couldn't have asked for more. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking to block full afternoon sun and reduce the heat.

These are very thick, heavy and soft. Excellwnt quality! I bought these to reduce heat loss from my front door - i have noticed a huge difference. I bought a curtain rod and they easily slid on/off without incident. They are blackout curtains and they do exactly what they are supposed to do. I want to buy more of these for the rest of my windows.

I purchased two Biscotti Beige (52x90) panels to insulate my patio door. I intentionally chose a longer length so they drape slightly on the floor, keeping out drafts. The material is nice, soft and thick, providing excellent heat retention by blocking cold air. The blackout works great, allowing no light to pass through. Note that the back of the curtain is black. They were easy to hang but need ironing to smooth out the wrinkles.

I got the grommet gray with black liner 52"x95" curtains (set of 2). These things are absolutely INSANE at blocking light. We hung them floor to ceiling in our primary bedroom to cover 3 standard sized windows (see before pic). I also got a single one for a single window on the other side of the room and hung it floor to ceiling as well. I used wraparound curtain rods so we could pull the curtains closed as close to the wall as possible for maximum light blocking. Y'all. When I tell you our primary bedroom is basically a cave during the daytime now--it is truly hard to capture in a picture just how dark it gets. It's dark enough that you 100% need to turn on a light to see anything if the door is closed, even in the daytime. I get migraines and these curtains have been a lifesaver. I don't need to use an eye mask anymore even during the day because it's more than dark enough in our room. Everyone who's seen them in action comments on how unbelievably dark we are able to get our room during full sun. As far as quality, they're pretty nice. They are thick and have a great weight to them so that they drape and pool on the floor nicely. They don't exactly scream luxury but they are plenty nice enough to pull a room together (aka they don't look like dorm room starter curtains). They haven't shown any wear in the 2ish years we've had them. They're strong enough that our dog can't pull them open (although she likes "burying" bones behind them). They don't attract lint or dust and are super easy to keep clean. These are definitely one of the best things we've bought for our house. If you also like it to be super dark in your room, you will not be disappointed.

Great curtain but thought it came with 2 and only received one single curtain. But the blackout is 10/10. Got this for my toddlers room so he could nap during the day and it definitely does the job!

This material is gorgeous! It reminds me of the finest bridal gown satin. It doesn't have the sheen of satin but it has the luxurious feel & weight. And you can't see through it -- truly a blackout curtain! I wish I had known about it last year before I bought all my other window treatments! Nevertheless, I will be buying more!

True 100% blackout drapes. Well made and odor free. These have a black backside that will help save energy from the hot summer sun and the cold winter temps. This was what I wanted in addition to a completely dark room. This is 100”x84” over a 78” French patio door. This 100” width barely covers the opening. To look nice I need a second drape. I wish they were offered in wider widths for this purpose. Additionally there is obviously a need for alternative hanging to prevent both above and below light. Perhaps I should have gone with 90” and let it lie on the floor to prevent bottom light? I’m not sure, but I am not happy. It isn’t the fault of this product. I just have a huge lighted space that I desire to have complete darkness to be able to sleep.

I have had these for 6 years now and I still love them. Beautiful quality, they really do function as blackout and heat blocking (important in the desert southwest) curtains.
