This is a charming movie with a bit of a twist. A princess disappears in New York City as she wants to remember sights and sounds of the city during the Christmas season. Her life is dictated to her by her well-meaning aunt who has scheduled her every waking moment with public appearances with both the media and the public. All the princess wants to do is spend one hour to see an art museum gallery showcasing famous photographs. During her absence, security personnel scour the city looking for her and she meets a coterie of colorful characters who are celebrating Christmas and include her in their joyous gatherings completely unaware of her status. What ensues is a romance and a reaffirmation of what Christmas should be and how life should connect people together who hold the same cherished values.
