Bird Spikes Fixing Silicone Adhesive Glue for attaching Pigeon Deterrent Spikes

Works great! We've had a problem with racoons pooping on the roof of our shed and also running around on the roof of the house. Put up stainless steel bird spikes on the shed roof and at access points to the house roof using this stuff, and problem solved. This silicone is quite grabby, holds the spikes well initially and even better as it ages a bit. I highly recommend it.

We received this silicone along with some metal spikes so we could glue the spikes down. It worked from day one however, I will tell you that we didn't use it on birds, we have a space beside our fireplace which is about 2 1/2' X 2 1/2' in which we have cats that have decided to use as their private potty spot. Wrong answer kids, you have 4 litter boxes and you can't use this space. So we took the sections of the wire racks and glued them down on spare tile we had to match what had just been put down and no more kitty pee.

It did glued on the wall when the wall was warm around 55 degrees. But it has hard time gluing Spikes to the wall when weather temperature is below 50 degrees.So I have to use masking tape on the Spikes after gluing to help it stay on. So far, none of the Spikes have fallen.

At first I used double sided tape to hold the spikes in place. It did not work at all-the spikes fell off and the dog stepped on them. ouch! Then I remember "use the right tool for the right job", my dad's chant when we used his precious tools for the wrong purpose. Anyway, I ordered the Defender and it does exactly what it should. It holds the spikes in place at exactly the right angle for a gentle poke in the butt to deter them from sitting on the fence, or in the eaves pooping and spreading germs on everything. I wasted money trying to save money- so I wish I had gotten it right the first time. It's a great product, fast delivery and quite reasonable.

I applied this product as directed to fix the Bird spikes to my stainless steel flat roof. After holding the first spike piece in place off and on for 1.5 hours on a warm dry day, the item tipped over!! There was absolutely no adhesive effect!!!! I changed to the scotch double sided outdoor tape and the spikes stuck like glue and they went up in minutes.

I live in a really windy area and used this stuff to put up some pigeon barriers. This stuff does the job!

Worked great to adhere the pigeon spikes to underneath my gooseneck on my horse trailer. They have not budged since installed a few months ago despite plenty of trailering miles. The glue was easy to use, it did require a standard caulking gun.

Product worked well but was missing a closing cap to secure the remaining silicone if the entire amount wasn't used at the time.
