Review: Nothing better! - Capons are, without doubt, the best poultry you’ll ever eat. We found one at our local grocery several years ago and have never looked back! The meat is much more tender than turkey or chicken and has delicate flavor notes not found in mass produced poultry. Most grocers can order you one, but if yours can’t this is a great solution. Minowa is a brand we’ve had before, and that’s what is waiting for tomorrow’s Thanksgiving feast. Cook it as you would any other poultry; to an internal thigh temperature of 175* with a 30min rest under foil after it comes out to complete cooking. YUM!!

**Q: is it organic and no-gmo?**
A: don't care........it was delicious!

**Q: was it frozen before?**
A: It comes frozen solid, in an insulated box with cold packs. I might add...it was quite tasty!

**Q: Was it surgically  or chemically neutered?**
A: I understand  that the capon was surgically neutered but could not swear that was the case. The bird was plumb and juicy and my clients felt it was worth the cost.

A: Yes. Heart, liver and neck. I don't think there was a gizzard tho.
