Medical Arm sling with Split strap Technology, By Healjoy/Custom SLR

I over did my arm as I pulled my deltoid in my left arm it bloody hurt so was advise to keep my arm up in a sling instead of going to hospital, I decided to go on Amazon look for one that would suit my needs got this sling as you can adjust it. It is well made and not a bad for the money either. I would recommend this sling as it did help me. Had to take time out from training to rest my deltoids. Very comfortable and easy to wash.

My X-ray confirmed a broken shoulder blade, so I ordered this while still in A&E waiting for the consultant to discharge me. I was sent home with a triangular bandage knotted in a sling and a couple of painkillers. The triangular bandage sling was worse than useless, dug into my neck and was too short to support my forearm. Luckily the new sling arrived the next day, as soon as I put it on the relief was instant, my arm and shoulder was immobilised and fully supported. Quality is good, similar straps and buckles that you find on a good camera bag. The double strap on the shoulder is well padded and slightly stretchy which gives good shock absorption. Adjustment of the straps is easy, adjust the rear strap so that the shoulder pad sits on the top of your shoulder, then everything is done from the front strap and quick release Velcro fastener. You can Olsen the front strap completely which is enough to slide the sling off, but if you need to take extra care not to move your shoulder you can also undo the quick release strap. Putting is on is simple too, just extend the strap to it’s full length, position your arm in the sling and once the quick release strap is fastened, just pull down on the front strap to tighten, if needed lift the buckle to loosen. Very pleased with the quality and would definitely recommend it.

Supported my arm after shoulder injury. Easy to slip off if hand needed. However osteopath later warned me to keep shoulder moving or risk a frozen shoulder.

This has been a god send since I fell over and dislocated the above. Came right on time soon as I was out of hospital,very easy to use on your own, comfortable and very supportive. Excellent product and great price

On the whole this is excellent, but it does have some very simple flaws that mark it down. The adjustment loops on the back are very thick with hard plastic in them and I found it made really painful pressure points in my back when I'm sitting down. And let's face it, if your arm is in a sling you're gonna be sitting down a lot! It was so bad that I cut the adjusters out and stitched the strap back together. It is very comfy now but not everyone has a sewing machine and doing this one handed was tricky. It would be MUCH better if the rear adjustment was located on top of the shoulder pad instead of on the back strap. Other than that, it is very very comfortable when up and about. It's just a shame that a simple design flaw makes it uncomfortable when sitting down.

Great quality, priced well, kept injury stable and supported at all times, very pleased.

… But the cheapest sling was better than this one. I decided to not to keep this product just because of two compartments. The sling function as itself is given on the cheaper product and it’s perfectly doing its job.

Definitely feels a lot lighter and comfortable. Does not put a strain on your shoulder, and has a little pouch or cash and cards inside the sling. Adjusting it was confusing at first, does not come with instructions however, it's easy to adjust once you have played around with it. I fractured my elbow and pulled a ligament so this definitely helps with my posture because it elevates my arm to where it should be. Highly recommended.

Very good fit (for non-petite people), easily adjustable, and easy to put on by yourself with a little practice. The thumb straps help keep your arm stable and they prevent the arm from slipping out. The vertical adjustment strap is easy to use with your one good hand. The Velcro connector on the front which receives the vertical support strap is well designed and durable. The fabric of the sling is comfortable. I was able to use this sling easily during daytime activities, and was able to sleep with it as well. I highly recommend this sling. I will be ordering another one to put in our family med bag.
