Received the book in damaged state. Sides of the book is damaged. Photos attached. The cost of this book is Rs.1320/- but the book looked like old book or used book.

Excellent read. I didn't read it in all in one sitting. I would pick this book up on days I was facing a difficult leadership decision and would read the chapter I was on and that chapter always seemed to be discussing exactly what I was facing as a leader.

Lesen. Sehr lehrreich und informativ. Obwohl das buch kein "moderne" management lehrbuch ist, könne sogar erfahrene führer und manager viel gutes aus dem buch erfahren.

I'd recommend this to anyone as it's straightforward and makes one realise the importance of handling your own emotions in dealing with others. It also makes you realise that sometimes you may have to make a decision to make a stand on something others may not agree with but so long as you're doing it for the right reasons, then you'll be okay.

Lincoln was a peaceful leader and practiced peace among his led. He looked at positive side of a person and not condemned those who errored on one aspect of leading. Good communicator and managed by wondering around his led and not a desk man to lead from afar. Assertive when he wanted things done and saw through those who wanted his downfall but dealt with in a humane way. Fantastic book and had to read it twice but will read it again, and again.
