Very nice, and super cheap for good quality.
I am amazed how good this rack is. It fits together nice it's not chincy at all for an adjustable rack it looks nice for u der 100 bucks you wont be at that price at all. I'm sure the powder coat wont last the test of time but. For 92 bucks after tax if the coating stays on longer than a year that's still pretty good. 25 bucks worth of primer and paint look as good as new again if it was to peel off. I've seen lots of these racks like this one and truth is they will all end up peeling after some time usually.

Hi, I was looking for a rack to protect the rear window on my work truck. If you have any common sense you will be able to install this unit easily. My unit has NO issue with rust and has been installed for several months. Great Quality for the price. If your looking for an inexpensive (Good Deal / More Bang 4 Your Buck)) MaxWorks Head Ache Rack is Perfect. Very pleased with overall rack. I mounted an LED flat trailer brake light under upper crossbar (since it does block 3rd brake & cargo lights slight on my 2003 Ram), the steel meshing is welded in the center of the framing giving 3/4" recess for light I also mounted two 4" round LED (42 watt) lights to the sides (3" below upper bar) and connected cargo wires to them for backing up car trailer at night. For a $100. you can't beat The MaxWorks 70234 Headache Rack. I buy, sell, tow, scrap and part out cars. Looks great too. Was delivered in 3 days (2-6 MONTHS IS A MISS PRINT) THIS ITEM IS SHIPPED IN 2 - 6 DAYS !!!

Best Bang for the Buck You're Going to Find!
Application - 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 2 wheel drive. I blew out my back window hauling debris from my property to the dump. A large branch branch cost me over a grand in new glass and labor. I figured I should get a headache rack since I have a lot of property and it needs a lot of cleaning and I sure as heck do not want to have to replace that window again. So, was it worth it. Yes! If you have a light duty truck and you use it for light duty work, this is the best "bang for the buck" your're going to get. It is not going to stop a shift from a big, heavy load but it will keep those branches and broken closet door from breaking your expensive back glass. It is not made from the finest materials (some of the steel is slightly pitted), it's fit and finish is not Chip Foose level and the paint is thinner that frog hair. This is not a designer piece and it will stand out like a sore thumb on your pretty daily driver that doesn't see a load bigger than a kids dresser from IKEA and your woman's "triple shot, no fat, chocolate chip mocha-chino" This is a great piece if you're on a budget and work your truck like a truck. Also, if you are handy with a welder, this is a great starting point. I plan on making a few additional braces and adding a couple hooks for rope and chain and coating it in bed-liner when I am done. I also plan on swapping the hardware to Grade 8 but I have a tendency to over-do things and none of this is necessary for anyone else. You could just as easily plop this on your work truck and go do truck stuff. However, If you live in an area where things have a tendency to rust, I would suggest you hit it with a few coats of paint before you install it. Need a headache rack to keep crap from breaking your window? This is for you. Want a headache rack to make your rig look pretty? Go spend 400+ on a DeeZee, Lund or BackRack. Works great! Looks great!
I liked this product a lot. It looks nice on my truck and fits perfect with my toolbox. I needed something so people couldn't get in my cab through the sliding window, and this works great! I read the reviews and saw that it started rusting on people a little while after they bought it. So I went to the store and bought some outdoor paint and put a few coats on it. Had it for at least a month now and still no rust! Great for the price! Just a little paint and it works great. It was bent in the corners due to shipping but I just unbent and painted and installed. I feel like it will outlast the truck if I'm being honest lol

Solid starter rack although frustrating install.
Delivered earlier than expect with beat up packaging. Nothing damaged since it is steel. The rack seems solid for it's price though on the inside of one the sides where metal arms are inserted there was a random chunk of steel still welded in place blocking function- chiselled off with a hammer and was fine. Instalation guide was essentially one page of generalized install instructions. After figuring out what they meant It took 2 and a half hours to fasten. Install required four 3" x 3/8" bolts and large washers which I had to pick up from hardware store.. had to grind two of the bolts down to an inch and a half length in order to make them fit. If you have issues fitting fingers thru side pockets or holding onto nuts (phrasing) I would recommend duct taping nut and washer to locking plate and using a balled up rag between plate and fingers to make up for extra space. Final product looks good and fit my 2500hd just barely. Could feel more sturdy but I'm content for the price. I'd recommend to crafty individuals willing to take extra time to fasten in order to save money.

Great for price
Rack is great. Install can be a pain depending on truck. I have installed two so far one on a titan xd and a newer tundra. The tow options on those to get the mounting plates in place is cut a access panel on bed of shove your body up in the body side from the bottom. It sits tight with just one bolt on either side to secure down. The rack has some wiggle but not to bad will not hit back of cab

I installed this rack on my 2009 Silverado longbox. It has been super helpful for carrying long materials, along with my trailer. Very simple to install. It has two bolts that are recommended to drill out, I found it was quite secure without needing the extra bolts.

Had no holes to drill in the truck to install!

Looks great on a 2017 Ford F350. It sits a little loose with the adjustable arms, but I tack welded it and it holds solid now.

It does the job but kinda flimsy. You get what you pay for.
