**Q: If I mix the sparkle gel with regular icing, will it harden with the icing?**
A: no it stays wet and sticky!

**Q: Can you mix this with icing to give a gold tint to the icing?**
A: Although I didn't try that I think you probably could do it.  It would mute the color a bit but the sparkles may survive.  It is the consistency of the usual decorative writing gels so it should mix as well as those do.  Good Luck.

**Q: Can anyone tell me if the top requires removing an additional cap, or if one only needs to rotate the top so as to avoid choking hazards?**
A: The cap comes off

**Q: I want to decorate a carrot cake with small carrots and some green leaves, should I use icing or gel?**
A: While I am no expert, I recommend using icing. The gel is translucent whereas icing is opaque so it will show better. The icing will also hold the shape better.
