Mini Diagonal Cutting Pliers | PMN54001

These are a little lighter duty than my standard 6 inch pair. They look like they’re made very well. I think a standard 6 inch pair would be better for most people because they’re a little more heavier duty. This works to complement my 6 inch pair I like them and I would buy them again. I hope this helps someone.

I use small diagonal cutters frequently at work (computer tech). I've had many brands over the years from cheap no-name ones to Xcelite to Klein. These are the nicest made ones I've ever seen. They are truly next-level. I haven't had a pair with this type of spring opening before but it is a really great design. I can't speak to durability since I haven't had them long enough yet but Wow, what a fantastic design and great construction.

A perfect wire cutter for electronic work. Small enough to fit in your hand comfortably. Cuts copper wire like butter, nicely ground, hardened cutting edge. Precision made. A nice addition to any electronics bench, tool pouch or toolbox. I purchased the full set (saves you a bit over individual purchases) and am very pleased with the purchase. Well-designed for close cutting, such as PCB, but would be handy for making jewe lry or craft projects. Price is not bad for a quality product.

Broke on a zip tie, a little one. Buuuut I did abuse and drop them on cement to the point they had chipped the tips before breaking off completely after about a year so good overall considering the environment. Also, bought another pair because I liked them so much.

This is the 3rd pair of pliers/cutters that I’ve bought from the Tekton brand. They’re a high quality tool. Somewhat generic as a brand, but they’re well made. The price is a bit higher than some competitors, but I can see a difference in the fit and finish with these that is lacking in some of the cheaper generics. It’s always a smart investment to buy the highest quality tools and buy them once, as opposed to buying something cheap that you’ll need to replace often.

I use these for cutting zip ties on danger tags at work. They fit in my pocket and don’t take up too much space. They’re sharp and cut well. The spring holding them open came out fairly easily with a pair of needle nose pliers (can’t risk that falling out and into other machines). If I wanted to rig something to keep these in my hard hat instead of throwing them in my pocket they would fit. Plastic coating on handles takes Sharpie marker well so I’m not worried about my name rubbing off. Would absolutely buy another pair if I lost these.

These cutting pliers are amazing. I use them everyday and they can even be used to pry things apart, that’s how strong they are. I just wish they were a little bit bigger because I have large hands. They’re very discrete and you can put them anywhere, in any of your pockets.

I was looking for something to cut zip ties these are small they’re perfect ! If they sold some maybe 2” longer I’d buy them as well. Cuts pretty flush. Just enough. Tekton is a good brand they’re not snap on quality but good quality .

Chipped after 2 months of use with wiring. Expected much longer time of use. How to contact manufacturer?
