It worked great and you could hear everyone clearly in the recording. I placed it back in the box for use later. However, when I needed it in August it wouldn't power on when I took it out of the box. I plugged it up to the charger and left it overnight. The next day it still wouldn't power on and it wasn't recognized by the computer. I contacted the email address listed in the question section for this device and got a response quickly. (I was already past the return time for Amazon). Honestly I didn't expect a response but they simply asked a few questions and just like that a new one was shipped to me. I just received the replacement and it works great. The change I'm going to make with this one is make sure to plug it in and charge it every few weeks just to make sure the battery doesn't run completely down as I have a suspicion this is what happened to the last one.
