The plastic of the seat is strong, and the chair is a good fit for those of the heavier persuasion (I'm 260 lbs with most of it in my hips - I wear 44" jeans). The legs are sturdy but give the impression of not all being in alignment (you can see that some in the picture) and of being plastic instead of aluminum, so that brought down the cosmetic value of the piece. All the chairs were very dusty, one has some minor cosmetic damage (others might also, I didn't look that closely).
