In this back pocket I can barely get the zipper over the first corner but to get it over the second corner I must pull up on the zipper and drag it over the corner while pushing down on the phone. I anticipate this may stretch out with use but if I must always do this it will probably tear out the zipper at the corner. If this was just a little bit taller it would be so much better. I wanted a minimalistic pouch that doesn't bulk out a lot and would have preferred one pocket but it can be nice to have the 2nd pocket for charger cables, etc. Two pockets isn't a deal breaker for me and for two pockets this isn't very bulky. Which brings me to the separator between pockets. There is no padding which will probably be the glass side of the phone facing the outer pocket. There are only two layers of thin fabric. If something hard is in the outer pocket I am concerned it could damage the glass. Which brings me to the logo. It is almost 1/4" thick, 7/32 metal logo on a rubber base. I am very active and hard on cases. I like to have 2 - 3 cases: 1 for dress up, 1 for daily, and a beater for work or outdoor. Having something like that which can press in on the phone glass is unacceptable for a beater. It is attached with two very sturdy metal tabs 3/16" x 7/16" that go through the fabric and staple into a metal inner backing plate. I put mine in a vice and pulled the pouch off the logo. Now there is a metal backer floating around inside the outer lining and very minimal damage to the fabric. This will work for me. When I first started using cell phones I tried the clip on type and with physical activity soon found I had to use a belt loop or the phone would get dropped and this has a 3" loop. The larger belt loop allows the pouch to adjust when sitting it the car and trying to get at the seat belt latch which I like. The top of the loop is 1" from the top of the pouch so the pouch sits low instead of riding up into my side. The zipper pulls are big and weighty which some people may not like but I had small pulls on my previous pouch and found I had to struggle to find and operate them and I think these will be better. I don't like how they are flashy and knock around though so I will paint them with some black elastomeric latex paint that I have laying around to kind of rubberize them and make them less conspicuous. This has a loop for a key ring (included) which I will use with an integral retractable cord on my case for when I travel and have concerns about pickpockets or dropping while on a ladder, etc.. A lot of cases do not zip all the way. I used to use GPS cases for my phone because they fully zipped and this does provide that. My early experience with velcro was quickly disappointing as it loses it's adhesion and the flaps get ratty and there is little dust protection. I did a LOT of searching for something that fit my criteria and even with these issues I am still glad to find this option because there were not many pouches that will fit a Pro Max with a bulkier heavy duty case at all. My last two holsters were hard plastic and broke when I accidentally rubbed against metal racks were I work at. So I was looking for something better. And I found it. This served exactly what I wanted. I use to use phone wallets but my last phone was damaged with one on. So I decided this time to buy a sturdy case but needed something to hold both my phone in its hard case and my wallet that was small and compact. And here it is. It fits my s8 plus perfectly and small pocket fits my wallet and cigarettes. Plus I believe it's sort of stylish. Unfortunately the young adults under me a work always joke that I have a fanny pack now. But I don't let it get to me. It can be covered by your shirt. And no one would be the wiser. My only draw back is the zipper tags. Both zippers on both pockets close in the same direction. They both have these metal zipper tags that you use to close the zipper. Unfortunately being on the same side they seem to hit each other making noise. It's like if u had ur keys in ur hand and as u walked you jingle them. I wont be sneak up on any one that's for sure..lol. But other than that it's a great buy. Can be hooked through belt loop or has a metal clip to be hooked to back pack or anything you chose. Its sturdy and keeps bulky stuff out of your pockets.
