Good pot.
Great pot. Use it everyday. But note that it’s aluminum which is not good for your brain. Make sure you make at least three cups of coffee before you drink any to season the pot and never wash the pot or parts with soap. Just rinse it all with water.

Quite expensive, but an excellent product
I bought the 6 cup version. Some of the points which may not be highlighted in other reviews:Pros:1. The decoction gets done quickly (3-4 mins).2. The decoction is thick and leaves a film of trail when drawn (not watery).3. Is versatile: Can be served directly as small espresso shots served in demitasse cups, but can also be used in lieu of filter coffee decoction with milk and sugar without losing the originality of filter coffee taste (I used regular South Indian coffee grounds).4. Thorough extraction of flavour and essence - There is no point of reusing the used grounds for a second extraction, since the first extraction itself is thorough.Cons:1. Very very expensive even for an international product. USA Amazon prices for the same product are 20-30% cheaper.2. Cleaning needs some attention as the different parts need to be separated out and cleaned with plain water and no detergent.

Moka pot base getting stained with black spots but coffe is great
The product is ok. But I am facing issue white deposits in the pot's base along with black spots. I have used the product only a couple of times as of now therefore this issue should not come so soon.Is there anyway I can get the pot replaced. It seems the material is getting corroded very easily.Still waiting for a reply from the seller. Is there no way to get an answer?I got response from the seller. Conversation with them was satisfactory and they made sure the stains are not an issue u less the coffee taste is accected. Also, coffee brewed in this is great!

If you want moka pot buy this only
This is the best moka pot. Period.Nothing like this. If you're using some cheaper chinese or Indian moka pot, and wonder how the you tube vidios show the frothy beautiful stream of coffee decoction coming out of the nozzle, because your device only squirt or sneeze, this IS the difference. I've used quite a few cheaper alternatives. Nothing comes to close. In built quality, in performance and lastly in taste of coffee made with this.1. Use hot water . Boil water seperately and use in it. Use cloths to hold the base while tightening the upper part as the hot water will make the lower part scaldingly hot in no time. This cause less time of this on the stove top, so less bitter taste. No chance of burning coffee grounds.2. Use coarser ground. On timemore C1, use 16 clicks- 22 clicks setting. 16 click will produce the beautiful frothy thick decoction flow. 22 clicks will produce watery decoction. Do not use espresso grind.3. Don't tamp4. Transfer decoction as soon as flow seems complete to prevent over-cooking. Some water always remain inside lower chamber. You can also transfer the lower chamber below running water or cover lower part with water soaked towel once flow seems complete to prevent over-cooking.5. Clean thoroughly. This prevevents bitterness.6. If you have less members buy smaller ones. Using less than optimum coffee ground and less than optimum water doesn't taste good. So this will make coffee for six. If you have 4 members, each day you might have to throw away decoction for two.

coffee basket is flimsy
shame on you. the outer container is made of solid aluminium but the coffee basket is made of the flimsiest of aluminium which has gotten bent out of shape. such high price for a piece of crap

Excellent buy, little pricy
ProsThe decoction is quite strong and thick compared to the traditional filter. No traces of coffee powder in the upper kettle (the regular filter used to have coffee powder settled at the bottom as it worked on gravity)ConsA little pricyWe reuse the percolator second time as the decoction is very strong and coffee powder still has essence in it. During this process, it’s difficult to separate the bottom container and the coffee powder middle stand.

Good to go
Make sure to use it with guidelines and it’s amazing

Vale a pena!

Still my favourite way to make coffee
I used to own the Dama and needed to replace the gasket and found that it would be more economical to just buy a new Moka. This 6-cup Moka makes great coffee for 2 people. I still prefer this over a french press or pods. And I'm too poor for a proper espresso machine. Delivery was relatively quick considering it came from abroad. There was a bit of smell when it arrived but nothing that a few rinses and just letting it boil on a stovetop couldn't fix.

An excellent and inexpensive way to make very good quality espresso
It's taken me 3 years to get round to writing this - it just slipped through the net. At least this review is based on long experience so I doubt that this Bialetti still holds any surprises. If you don't fancy investing in an electric espresso machine this Bialetti is definitely the next best thing. At the price you can't really go wrong.I'm not a coffee connoisseur by any means, I just enjoy a good espresso and an electric machine is undoubtedly a quick, effective, simple if expensive option. However, the Bialetti exudes charm and style. It is a very appealing piece of equipment. In terms of cleaning it is no more involved than cleaning the basket of an electric machine. The real difference is simply that you have to heat the water yourself but this takes mere moments.I endorse the comments of others: use hot but not boiling water; don't over fill it; use a Moka pot grind. Allow yourself no more than a quick, satisfying peek at the coffee erupting through the pipe before promptly closing the lid. Take it off the heat as soon as the coffee begins to flow. This simple device makes, for me, perfect espresso although it might just lack the depth and intensity of an espresso machine. But it's a close run thing in my judgement. The device is robust, well made and has already given three years of reliable service. In conclusion this is an excellent and inexpensive way to make very good quality espresso and there is virtually nothing here to go wrong - I guess one day the gasket will perish so you might as well buy a spare when you buy the pot.Highly recommended.

A Journey of Flavor and Tradition: My Unforgettable Moka Pot Experience
From the moment I unboxed the Moka Pot, I could tell that I was in for a unique coffee brewing experience. The sleek, octagonal design of the pot exuded a sense of tradition and craftsmanship, promising a taste of Italy in every sip.As a coffee enthusiast constantly on the hunt for the perfect brew, I was intrigued by the Moka Pot’s reputation for producing rich, full-bodied espresso. The process of assembling the pot, filling it with freshly ground coffee, and placing it on the stove felt like a ritual, a moment of pause in my busy day.The anticipation built as the pot heated up, and soon enough, the sound of bubbling coffee filled my kitchen. It was music to my ears, a sign that something magical was happening inside the Moka Pot. The aroma of the coffee wafted through the air, rich and inviting, transporting me to a quaint café in the heart of Italy.Pouring the coffee into my cup, I was greeted with a deep, amber liquid, crowned with a layer of crema. The first sip was a revelation. The coffee was strong and robust, with a complexity of flavors that danced on my palate. There were notes of chocolate and nuts, with a subtle sweetness that balanced the bitterness of the espresso. What struck me most about the Moka Pot experience was the sense of connection it provided. In a world dominated by automatic coffee machines and instant gratification, the Moka Pot required patience and attention. It was a reminder to slow down, to savour the moment, and to appreciate the art of coffee brewing. The Moka Pot also offered a glimpse into the rich coffee culture of Italy, a country where coffee is not just a beverage, but it was a journey of flavour and tradition, a celebration of the simple pleasures in life.
