There are four cold shoes and a large number of 1/4"-20 threaded mounting points distributed across the cage, the magnet plate, and the handles. Many of these threaded holes include anti-rotation slots similar to ARRI locating pins, which is a fantastic feature for preventing accessories from twisting under load. There are also centrally positioned anti-rotation slots on the top, bottom, and sides, oriented front to back. That allows you to mount the handles as top grips, bottom grips, or even orient the cage face-down while keeping the handles vertical. The flexibility here is impressive, and it supports a wide variety of configurations. The included hex wrench is useful for tightening the handles, disassembling the cage, and even removing the magnetic mount for additional versatility. It also includes a steel adhesive ring. This can be used to make non-MagSafe phones compatible, or you can attach it to the back of the magnet plate so you can stack additional MagSafe-style accessories like a selfie monitor or battery pack. Since I already use MagSafe-style cases, I used the ring on the back to expand accessory compatibility. Now for the discrepancies. The listing claims “quick-release” handles. They are not quick-release. They attach using standard 1/4" screws with knurled finger dials that have holes that allow tightening with the included hex wrench. They are solid and secure, but they are absolutely not quick-release. The listing also states the handles are “equipped with hex wrenches” for storage. There is no built-in wrench storage slot in the handles. I have seen that feature on other handles, so I know what they are referring to, but it is not present here. There is no included clip for securing the phone. The only attachment method provided is the magnetic mount. The listing clearly mentions securing the phone via MagSafe or an included clip, but no clip is included. There is also no 67mm filter mount included, despite the listing mentioning one. I am not sure what they mean by “expansion base mounting hole” unless they are simply referring to the 1/4" threaded holes, which are already abundant. One design limitation worth noting is that the magnetic mount is circular. Because the phone does not physically brace against cage edges, a heavily lopsided setup, such as one with a large lens attachment, could potentially rotate under torque. Despite the inaccurate listing details, the cage itself is genuinely well designed and highly versatile. The build quality is strong, the mounting options are extensive, and the configuration flexibility is excellent. If the listing accurately reflected what is actually included, this would be an easy five-star product. As it stands, the hardware earns high marks, but the misleading feature claims prevent it from being perfect.

It took some real fiddling to get this thing figured out, but once I did, I see the value in it, and have used it a few times. My favorite thing about it is sticking my phone to its magnet with metal ring in my phone case. So satisfying. It’s really strong, too. It should fit most phones because it’s adjustable. I wish it had a tripod or legs feature, as it is it’s a bit awkward. If I build something to set it on, it will work, but I wish I didn’t have to come up with something. I thought it was cool that I could attach my accessories to the frame.

This is great. It’s light, but also feels very durable. My phone snaps onto the magnet with a very strong hold and I love having so many places on the cage to attach accessories. You can pretty much attach whatever you want in any location. There are so many cold-shoe slots and ¼” threads all over this thing. You can also move the handles to either side very easily, so you can hold your phone in either landscape or portrait mode, and you can rotate the handles. Moving and rotating the handles is quick and easy.

This is a well manufactured aluminum cage for phones using MagSafe cases. The handles quickly and easily attach to the sides and are almost infinitely adjustable for whichever angle feels best or suits your type of shooting the most. You have more than enough 1/4” screw holes along all four sides of the cage as well as 4 hot shoe mounts; even the handles have a couple additional 1/4” holes. I have absolutely zero complaints about the actual build quality of this cage and find it to be extremely versatile but I do have one complaint with this design. When attaching a heavy phone using a MagSafe mount, the phone can tend to rotate on the MagSafe mount if it’s imbalanced which in my case it is, because the magnet ring has to be placed off center of the phone. To fix this, it would be nice if there was some vertical adjustment in the mount so that you could mount the phone safely to the MagSafe ring and then rest the bottom of the phone against the bottom of the cage. This would provide extra security as well as preventing the phone from being able to rotate. Outside of that, it’s a great cage and I would definitely consider buying a few more if that design feature could be fixed somehow. Maybe even an adjustable spacer for the bottom could solve it. This is a well constructed and durable video rig kit, which made of aluminum alloy. It is overall lightweight and slim which I can fit easily into my backpack or camera bag to carry for outdoor use. With the handles, end-to-end the rig measured about 12"w x 5.5"h x 0.5" thickness. This rig kit helps to stabilize my iPhone 15 when I take photos or videos. I just tested the rig with video with running motion in the park and playground and catching low angles, all shots are very stable and clean. With the quick release mount I easily position my iPhone both horizontally and vertically for quick switch of shooting angles and direction. The rig also comes with 1/4" screw holes on all 4 sides, so I can attach a small LED light, microphone etc to build out a complete video rig.
