The "sofa bed" is great in the playroom. The grand kids constantly reconfigure the fold out chair for their constantly changing needs. Personally, I don't find it comfortable. It is very firm, and my old body cannot get comfortable sitting or laying on this thing. But those young kids have no complaints, and they love being creative, reshaping this piece as they desire. This is a very good piece for a kids playroom or bedroom.

All I had to do was open the packaging and let it expand for about 48 hours. At first I was worried it would not fully take shape, but the foam expanded nicely and ended up looking just like the photos in the listing. The chair sits very low to the ground, which might not be comfortable for everyone, especially if you have trouble getting up from lower seating. When it is unfolded into a bed, it works well enough for short term use, but the size makes it less ideal for regular sleeping. It is useful in a pinch though. Another thing to keep in mind is that the back portion of the chair does not provide much support. If you lean back too much you will likely tip over. It feels more like a padded square seat rather than a chair designed for back support. Overall, I think it is a solid option for casual use as long as you understand its limitations.
