This is a great paint that goes on smooth and thick. Many washable tempura paints are so thin, they are watery and see through when you use it. This paint has great color and doesn’t have a watery appearance at all. Big bottles, all the basic colors. A great value.

Love all the vibrant colors. 2 yr old twins love it. Paint is non-toxic, thick for non spills, thick enough to be a finger paint, and goes a very long way. We 1st went with the crayola washable finger paint and went through that very very quickly. The 12 pack ready to use tempura paint is worth the money and will last them both a very very long time. It's not advertised as washable, but it does wash off skin easily with soap and water and washes off hard surfaces as most washable paints do, but it does stain bright white items (stained a white food to-go container I used as their paint pallets, but I don't care). It's paint, so let the kids paint wearing clothes you don't care about and in an area you don't mind getting messy. I put my twins in the shower and taped up large coloring pages on the walls. Very easy clean.

We will always buy these amazing washable paint from Prang. The paint has great coverage, the application is smooth, and the quality is very good. We love the squeeze bottles for easy dispensary on a paper plate that we can just throw away when we're done. I haven't counted the dry time, but I would say that it dries within the normal drying time frame depending on how thick layer of course. It's our go-to paint and we highly recommend it. They also have a guarantee promise, which for example is great for when the delivery isn't that great. I'll definitely check out their other products too.

This is our second order of these massive bottles of tempura paint. They last a couple of years after you open them and have served us well. Compared to buying paint at Michaels or whatever the cost savings is like 80%. The paint washes off skin reasonably easily so it can be used as finger paint but you will need to do a bit of scrubbing - I wouldn't recommend using it as finger paint for babies or any kid that is likely to try to eat paint. We have painted volcanos for school projects, giant murals, etc and it sticks to paper mache, cardboard, and posterboard well. Buy this as a gift for families with kids and they will love it.

A couple of the bottles had damaged seals. None of them actually spilled in the box, but they were crusty around the tops. A few of the paints are thicker and clumpier than they should be, but I've been able to use a little water to correct the consistency. I homeschool 2 children and always look for bargain priced school materials. For me, the price was low enough that the quality issues were acceptable.

A great lot of paint that my son loves to use regularly. We have an art room and use these all the time. The paint did get on the curtains and didn't come off but it comes off everything else (my fault for having left the room with two 3.5 year old boys and some open paint). It doesn't seem to dry out in the bottles as the tops stay on well. The plastic bottles have dropped from about seven feet and survived intact which is a relief (they live on the top shelf where they are out of reach for the wild children). The colors are true and of enough variety that you can paint anything. They mix well if you want any other colors. i would buy them again.

I purchased this pack of Tempera paint in April of 2010 for our church's sunday school program, and the last bit of the last bottle (the tan was the last survivor) just was used up last week. Michelangelo didn't use Tempera paint for darn good reason, by nature the stuff tends to be a bit on the goopey, occasionally-globby side, and this was really no exception. Wasn't too bad, though, the coverage was good, and the colours were good and bright. Overall, the kids really loved the stuff and the teachers were pleased with both the cost and the ready-mix bottles (as compared to mixing your own from powder) so I'll likely be ordering another round of it here in the next week or so. For the price, it's a darn good value.
