Makes them look more blond than white this way I really don't cover them completely which was beginning to be a hassle when you start getting too white.Henna, which I've been using since college is better for your hair than artificial haircolors. It makes my hair thick, shiny and soft. I'm really happy with it and will continue to use it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product. *by A***R on October 7, 2016* Not as gritty as others I have tried. Almost like matcha tea. My hair is very thin. For any hair type I recommend using a color tint brush and sectioning off hair into veeerrry thin slices so you can "paint" the front and the back sides of the slice and get all the roots with minimal hair breakage. If you are new to henna, it does not disperse and saturate into hair like a liquid or a cream color. Use gloves. Use over non-porous surface. When it dries you will find itty-bitty pieces all over. Good thing is though when it dries, if over a sink or tile floor, you can vacuum it right up. Sounds wierd I know. But it's like leaf particles. My hair is quasi-virgin (pool, sun etc.), medium and light blonde with grey. The color turned out to be more golden than ash as the chart depicts and as I had hoped. I have yet to find a henna that goes into the cool tone family. But it still gave my hair nice overall tone and helped the greys to blend. Need lots of conditioner and water to rinse out.
