everyone one of these I ordered came with a threaded rod that will not allow them to screw in any suggestions?

I have two of them and they work great. Just hold the bottom of the sleeve and it will adjust up or down

Is there one tat comes with a cradle adapter on top of the stand as opposed to the flat surface? Thanks

Not positive if you can get one, it comes only with flat padded surface. Definitely reccomend using this with any two posts lifts.

What is the dimensions of the top pad?
