**Q: I plan on going on a 300km hike. How likely are these to survive? Some materials simply fall apart with intensive use.**
A: I use these cork insoles beneath a shoe's normal insole to add height to my right leg, which is 1/2" shorter than my left leg, causing lower back strain. As a result they experience very little wear & tear, so used like that they should be fine for 300km. However, not sure how long they would last if used as the primary, or upper, insole.

**Q: what is the width at the widest part of the then uncut? Also what is the thickness?**
A: I'm not sure if the width and I no longer have them. I used them for a barefoot shoe, bought the biggest and trimmed. They are very thin, a couple of mm at most. They didn't last very long, being so thin. But I did wear them a lot and they did the job I needed

I bought these to replace an insole which was too thick. I wear shoes that mimic barefoot feeling. The insoles that came with my shoes was too thick and the shoes a little tight but I could feel the stitching on the soles without insoles. These are a perfect replacement

A very thin cork and fabric insole, easy to cut to size. Very flimsy, provide no support, 'But', that may be what you need. I  don't know if they will withstand washing.If they are still alive in six months, I will update this.It's 3 months later, and they are ready for the bin. There Are 3 layers, the top layer is disintegrating, and a very thin layer can be seen flapping about. Very poor. Rating down from 3*, to 1 *
