Excellent beer!!!

Excellent beer, very crisp and refreshing really nice in a glass that has been in the freezer. Not too gassy 👍 great flavour also.

We went to south Africa in January and loved this beer - not one hangover in two weeks. Bit disappointed in the packaging - 2 bottles got broke otherwise it would have been 5+ stars

Discovered this little gem in South Africa. Not a lager fan but this is a melter. Crisp, clean and additive free. Not a bad price, turned up on time, well wrapped and no breakages. Only problem was it didn’t turn up cold!

I bought some Windhoek because I was looking for a lager no more than 4% abv to drink during the recent hot weather which was too hot for stronger lagers. I don't like most of the UK lagers that come in at around that strength and was up for something different. I noticed this one and thought it worth a try as it was advertised as brewed in accordance with the German beer purity law. I was pleasantly surprised as I didn't expect a 4% lager to taste as good as an original German lager at around 4.9% abv. Well its not quite the same - no 4% beer will ever taste exactly the same as a stronger version - but its still pretty good. Exactly the crisp, refreshing thirst quenching lager I was looking for. A summer staple for me now.
