Ive had it a month and I love it. I used to wake up overheating because of heat trapped between me and the bed. Id have to sit up to let myself and the bed cool down, making it difficult to fall back asleep. This helps me sleep through the night by keeping the temperature cooler. I don't think the hum from the cube is loud at all. Any quieter and I'd forget to turn it off! I have recommended it to friends.

I love it, and I wish I tried it sooner. It seemed expensive (well, it is expensive), but it would have been cheap if I had tried it first before blaming and replacing several mattresses. I really appreciate the range of temperature that it offers. I set the temperature on high about 20 minutes before I go to bed, and when I climb into bed, it’s nice and warm. Just as I am going to bed, I lower the temperature to 64, and I’m able to sleep comfortably with a heavy blanket – my preference is for weight when I sleep. A great invention, and I don’t mind having to clean it once a month - only takes a few minutes, and would be worth it even if it were a nuisance! Five stars!

I bought my first chili cube in 2022. I’ve had trouble sleeping for my entire adult life and temperature regulation has a lot to do with it. As soon as I bought my chili pad, I loved it. I loved the wide range of temperatures, the lack of thickness of the pad and the overall comfort it provided, even when I wasn’t using the heating or cooling function (which was rare!). The pad feels high quality and you can hardly feel the tubules that run through it. I have never had a problem with it leaking but the fit for the chili pad “for me” king size was not great. It would constantly bunch up and leave you with a portion of bed that was not temperature regulated. I was able to live with constantly adjusting it though, until it stopped working all together. About a year after purchasing, my chili cube starting showing random codes on the screen, flashing its lights and making strange noises. It stopped heating or cooling. I was devastated but the customer service team came through and sent me a replacement, as I was still within the warranty period. A year later, that one stopped circulating the water. As I was now out of the warranty period, they would not send me a replacement for free. I was dependent on the chili pad for sleep at this time so I forked out over 1k on buying the king sized chili pad with two cubes, so both my partner and I could enjoy the temperature control. I purchased this is in July of 2024. In November of 2024, my cube again stopped circulating water. They provided me with a shipping label to send it back and sent me a new cube as a warranty replacement. All in all, I was without a cube for my chili pad for about a week and a half. I’m extremely unhappy with this considering system is about 4 months old and very expensive. I shouldn’t have to be without it at all. I received the replacement cube earlier in the week and it also does not circulate the water needed for temperature control. I’m extremely frustrated with this situation, as I now need to wait for sleep.me to get back with me again to address this issue. This system is way too expensive and way too new to be operating this poorly. There are several other systems that are available now that offer similar temperature regulation that I would encourage you to try. I will be purchasing one of those as my next system unless the quality of chili pads improves. Going through 4 chili cubes in 2 years isn’t acceptable. Edit: 2/9: Both of our chilicubes stopped working again. We received replacements but one does not work. 13 days after requesting help, I still do not have a working chili cube. Ordered July 11, 2021 During the summer months, when it was hot out the Chili Sleep pad Cube system (Twin size) was great. It worked like AC without cooling the whole room. Which is novel and interesting. The cold setting took a long time for me to get used to. At first, it was like sleeping on a slab of marble. Body heat just disappears. 64 degrees is way too cold for me. My ideal temp was 80 for everyday sleeping. I put the temperature on HIGH on the last day of summer and didn’t touch it. The temp readout said 100 but in reality the pad doesn’t get over 84-86 degrees. It took a little while to heat up/cool down. It takes me a long time to fall asleep and turning the unit on before bed had no effect on that. The compressor was setup in another other room and I was able to string the cord under the door. I found the compressor too loud to have in the room. The unit has a definite hum, rumble against the floor and a high pitch whine. (Admittedly, I have over-sensitivity.) I did trip over the cord everyday. Changing the sheets was fine. I had no problem. The straps could be a little better if you could adjust them. The piping texture was not a problem. I sleep on the floor on a futon mattress with a comforter and blanket. I take medication and melatonin. I didn’t change the water. At times it needed to be topped it off but not much more than a splash. It was somewhat convenient for me because I already had water by the bed because of the cpap. I didn't use the remote control much. You have to press Power twice to shut off the unit. Usually I just shut it off in the morning. Packing the unit up was fine. The machine had to drain overnight. I put it away in November because I needed something warmer. I bought a thermal blanket and use that now. I will break out the chili Sleep pad again in the summer. It is in the closet now. Is it worth the money? I’m not sure. It should be half the price, but I’ve only seen the price rise. Is this a luxury item? Yes. Is it addictive? Yes. Is it kind of loud? Yes. Is it a chiropractor? No. Does it help with Fibromyalgia? No. Does it help with inflammation? No. Does it help with night sweats? Yes. Does it help me fall asleep quicker? Unsure. Does it help me stay asleep? Probably yes. Do I recommend this for sleep health? Yeah. Just to have? No. Is it "the sleep of my dreams?" No. Do I still have insomnia? Yes. Is is good for the environment? I feel guilty about using this sleep pad because of climate change. I wish the politicians would see the disaster that is coming for us and change how power generation is created. I forgot to shut the unit off occasionally, which gave me enormous guilt. Thank you.

I would give this 10 stars if I could! The chilipad is life changing!!! Easy to set up. I sleep deeper and longer. Hot flashes are no longer an issue. With the chilipad, you stay the same comfortable temperature all night.

Spent a lot of time and money looking for a way to help me sleep. Short description, for the last 10 years I’ve been a “volcanically hot sleeper”, picture sleeping next to someone who feels like they just finished a marathon. I agree it was nasty so, Stumbled upon this little gem. Watched promo video and was like that’s me. Then I started reading the reviews, and even though I had already placed my order I was considering canceling based on the 1 month in people started having issues. I’ve owned mine 1 month running it at least 9 hours a day in the 50’s and it works great. I think some of the issue people where having have to do with how they maintained their units. Every week or every other week I change the water out of the units which typically helps with any cooling issues. I can’t really explain it other than after a week or 2 the machine will struggle to achieve temp so that’s when I dump the water out and refill it. You’re also supposed to clean it monthly so that could explain some of the other negative reviews. I did have an issue with one of the units not pumping water when I first got it but I lifted the machine above the bed and a syphoning effect fixed the issue with no noticeable issue after. As an average sized American male, I do notice the water lines but they don’t bother me, lines run from head to toe with 8-10” spacing, it’s actually better than I would have expected for comfort. Machines make noise but noise is negligible. My fan running in the other room is often louder. If you like absolutely silence do not buy. Wish remotes showed actual temp with set temp. Update:12/15/21 through the course of changing sheets I’m pad started to develop a leak. I reached out to chili and with in 2 days someone emailed me verified me and walked me through the warranty claim. I was honestly dreading the response, but nope chili made the process super easy, super painless, and if anything has made me a life long customer. You just don’t see customer service that good at this time of year in this kind of market. Two thumbs up to Mary the ‘sweet dreamer’ specialist who helped me. I could see how someone who is buying this product for luxury may find flaws but if your genuinely are looking for a reputable company with an affordable sleep climate control system because you just sleep too hot or cold, this is the product for you. I love it and I think any reasonable person would, unless you have a manufacturing issue which happen inwhich case talk to their customer service it’s easy and they take care of you.

Mixed feelings, the pad kinda works, used for about a week, i got easier into deep sleep but the side effects of using it made me return the product: - i have a very good mattress, the pad on either side complete destroys the experience, as it is rough, as it has tubes to circulate the water, they will become stiff as the water flows. - the temperature was not exactly uniform, some parts of the body were warmer. i guess physics... - because it is rough, i found myself turning a lot more than usual. my mattress is very high end, copper infused with memory foam. i bought it to minimize the turning, the pad nullified that - noise level is terrible, you get used to it, but because of the roughness of the pad, i was waking up to turn, and ended up been harder to go back to sleep because of the noise. most youtube videos i watched, basically what the algorith offers you anyway, do not talk about comfort, temperature uniformity, offset the mattress qualities, noise level. specifically noise, nobody talks about. this is just my experience, maybe the youtuber are right for most people, but not for me. at $700, it is definitely not a good buy. i would pay $1,000 if it was quiet, soft, and with uniform cooling. hope that helps you.

Bought this for my wife fully prepared for it not working well enough to justify the price tag. I was very surprised at how much she liked it. Worth every penny. She’s is sleeping so much better.

This pad has improved my sleep 100%. It's reduced my night time hot flashes 99%. It also means I don't need to have the air conditioning on in the bedroom anymore which is so much nicer. If you're a hot sleeper like me but you like having bedclothes on this allows you to have the best of both worlds.

I bought this as the hit nights in Dubai have always given me sleep problems. But from the first time I used this, it was simply brilliant. Easy to set up, quiet (I was expecting it to be loud) and kept me comfortable all night. Would recommend. It’s expensive (almost egregiously so) but it’s been money well spent.
