Pekee Bar

I love this smooth, gentle bar soap. It lathers nicely, cleans makeup & dirt easily with no scrubbing necessary. It is a lovely shape to work with, a creamy white color & is mostly frangrace free. I wouldn't mind a nice lemongrass scent. Pricey at $28 a bar but I only use on my face & it will last 6+ months. It is a calming, textural experience & much nicer than liquid or gel soaps.

I cannot say enough good about this product line! I have tried many high dollar skin care lines, but this one takes the cake! This Pekee bar removes my makeup like a charm, cleans my skin squeaky clean, but doesn't strip it. At night, I follow with the Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos gel, followed by their Virgin Marula Luxury Oil. Let me tell you something...my skin looks better after a week of using these products than it has in my whole life time of using Mary Kay/Arbonne/Estee Lauder! For some crazy reason, at age 48, I started getting adult acne. It has gotten really bad at 49. This stuff is fading my red spots from previous acne, and preventing new acne. My skin is smooth as silk. At first, I just about choked at the prices and thought, "I probably won't be able to afford this stuff on a regular basis." However, I'm here to tell you, I will cut back on food and clothing expense to afford this luxury of having clean, clear, glowing skin! Thank you, Drunk Elephant!

This may be my second review but this bar works the best for me! There's hardly any scent, great, washes but doesn't dry out my skin. Found it helped for minor breakouts. It lasts a long time and comes in cardboard container. Bravo!

I just got this product yesterday, and was super nervous about using a “bar soap” style face wash. I have yet to find any kind of face wash that makes your skin feel soft (while also making it feel clean) but gives it that refinished feeling without making it dry. I’ve used it once, but I see a NOTICABLE difference in the suppleness of my skin- I used a bit of c-firma and some moisturizer after and my skin feels baby soft. My skin is super textured and dry so this is a big deal for it to feel smoothe and soft. If the price is triggering to you- think about it like this- you can go through 3 $9.00 face washes that leave your skin dry/oily/make you breakout or invest in one that works- this is my new fave!

This is the bomb!! I have used this bar for about 6 years. It is effective but gentle and moisturizing. If I need extra cleansing for sweat or makeup I use my Foreo Luna. It lasts me about a year, maybe a little more. It is money well spent.

Very clean soap. It would be nice if the size matched the price.
