I love the little hammer that comes in this. I really bought the set for that, but it does come with some cool tools that help with building and taking apart LEGO and off-brand sets. I like that it comes in a handy little zipper pouch too. It even comes with a couple of smaller separator tools that fit micro bricks. I had to put the hammer and little plier thing together, but if you are an AFOL (Adult Fan Of LEGO) et al, then you will have no problem figuring it out. Only taking one star off, because overall, it's a good set of tools for the price. I had to get something after giving myself a nice blister on one of my fingers pulling out those black friction pegs on a recent Technic project, where I was installing and removing several as design changed; if I didn't think I was going to make anything more in the future, I wouldn't bother with a tool kit, but since I have plans for more things...well, it'll be needed. First - I purchased the small kit; you basically get what you see in the first picture of the product. You don't get the orange lifter piece in the second picture, because the hammer handle (it can be assembled and disassembled; it comes with a red short-axle for that), and the black pry-bars are basically for that function. The pliers don't come with instructions on assembly, but they don't take a lot to do; small kids might need help - there's a spring that could easily pop off and get lost while trying to insert it (anyone who's ever done drum brakes knows what I mean). Two of the red axles are provided, but you could easily use any kind of short axles from your technics bin. The star was taken off because what some of the pictures show is not what you get for the low-cost set - only that first picture, mainly. But what do you want for $9.00 USD? These will save your skin - those pliers with the rubber jaws will be perfect for pulling out those black friction pegs, and the show cross-axle bits on the plier handle ends, and the hammer, will make pushing out pegs easier (I was just using a regular axle for that). Overall I like this kit, and it should last and work well for all the building I'm doing. I think kids will love it, and I only wish I had something like this when I was a kid playing with Expert Builder kits (showing my age here; AFOL)...

These tools are so helpful, even if you have little ones playing with the blocjs the grown ups can use these to get the blicks undone, compared to breaking nsils, hurting fingers or even ruining the blocks. Immensely helpful, can not recommend enough!

Good for lego fanatics you do have to assemble the tools

The good is that this kit does come with a good variety of tools. The bad is that they are all flimsy. The pliers don't really open wide enough to grab legos. When you are able to grab a lego and apply pressure to pull it apart, the rubber stopper comes off the tip. The hammer handle is too short to make it really useful. The tweezers are extremely flimsy. To top it all off, you have to put it together by yourself and instructions are not included. Granted, if you are a lego builder, you can manage. I am pretty sure these tools will break pretty quickly. Not worth returning, so I will use them for now. Gave 2 stars but would have given 2.5 for the variety of tools if half stars were able to be given.

I wish they made these when I was a kid. They’re very helpful for all ages to more easily take pieces apart.

Bought this for my grandson. Very useful, so now he’s not trying to pry the blocks apart with his teeth, lol.

Quality tools at a very decent price.

Easy to use

Tools come in pieces and instructions to assemble them aren't in English. The tools are pointless as they don't work with lego and are flimsy. Do not recommend.

Grips worse than your fingers Useless.

Does not come with complete instructions on how to put together; no English instructions - only a pictograph for one of the items. Need to use pictures on Amazon showing items assembled to build. Did not receive all items pictured.
