If you make Thai curry as much as I do, this is a must. It is wonderful, tastes fresh and delicious. You cannot beat the price, I am used to paying a small fortune for a tiny bottle. This is much less expensive and as I said, it is delicious.

Tastes very authentic and flavorful. It is spicy and that's what we love! Good size tub would last for a long time. We keep it in freezer.

This sure beats buying the tiny 4 oz jars at the local grocery store. This has an exceptional flavor. It is mild enough that you can use enough to get full flavor without making it too spicy. Since there are different spice level preferences in our home, its a perfect choice as it's suitable for the mild spice lovers and the hot spice lovers just add a little extra heat to their meals. It's by far my favorite red curry paste!

The flavor is good but the size is very big for a small family

Very good! Makes me miss mom’s cooking. It’s a lot at once though. So I didn’t get to the rest before it went bad. The seal wasn’t super strong on the container, but once you eat it down enough, it closes better.

Wonderful tasting curry base. Good amount of heat. Mixed with coconut milk and added to shrimp or chicken with veggies, and it makes an amazing meal! Lots of servings - lasts a long time!

I have no idea why this gets good reviews. You can get curry paste pre-made in Asian groceries that is sooo much better. This product requires I use about 4x as much paste to get an adequate level of flavor. It takes 3 to 10 minutes longer per meal to make my own fresh curry, depending on how fancy I get or what's in the kitchen. And that's so much better it's ridiculous. Now I *could* make some big batches of paste myself.... I always keep Mae Ploy red curry paste in the fridge for days when I am cooking for more than just me or if I want a consistent flavor for a recipe. Usually I wing it myself. Also super handy is (and maybe better for an American palate) is a jar of Blue Elephant Thai red curry. That's probably the tastiest/convenientest if you don't eat a lot of curries -- who needs to invest in a ton of different spices for a once-a-month treat?
