Can the sensor be replaced?

Yes it can, however, the cost of labor and sensor to physically replace it, is cheaper for the customer to buy a new detector.

I know it says that it us waterproof but can it be used to detect the CO2 levels in the water?

Please be careful, this is CO not CO2. Also, it cannot be used in water ONLY for gas. Thank you.
