BG 44K Fuel System Cleaner Power Enhancer with Funnel

Got a couple of old (20+ years old) Land Rovers, and they don’t spend enough time in the shop getting routine maintenance unfortunately. This fuel system cleaner was recommended by other owners in my off-road club, and it's worked a treat in both my trucks. Better gas mileage isn't my goal with this product; I'm just trying to keep things less “gunky” so the vehicles run better, and there's an immediate difference in smoother starts and acceleration. I usually use one can a year since my Rovers are getting minimal miles these days, just leisure vehicles. Top of the can has a pull top, but it's super-tight and I find it tough to get going (I hate to break a fingernail!). Keep something on hand to help pry it open, and peel back slowly or you'll end up with this liquid all over.

This stuff really works. I have had a check engine light on for a while, P0420 code, catalytic converter below threshold. I added this stuff to my 1/4 full gas tank and drove about 20 miles to a Mobil station filled upped with 93 octane and after about 120 miles No more check engine night on. Also I have noticed my car idles much smoother as well. Highly recommend this stuff before you opt for a new $1000 catalytic converter. I had a small problem with the first shipment but after reaching Duke he shipped out another one immediately and also followed up to make sure I received it without further problems, Duke is great and a pleasure to do business with.

I recommend this to anyone who drives a car. So far this stuff is the best fuel cleaner I have used and I've been driving for over 40 years. If your car is hard to start, runs rough, Idles poorly, or accelerates poorly try this first. Before this product was sold to average individuals, professional mechanics used to use this as one of their tools to help tune your car. Cars have become so complicated that it's hard to work on them yourself but this is one of the tools an individual can use. I put this in all my cars, Honda Subaru Saturn and Ford Ranger. In my Ranger alone I had not changed the spark plugs in 11 years and mechanic told me plugs were pretty clean, he didn't know I had not changed them in over 11 years. Do Not Buy Cheap Fuel Cleaner, repeat Do Not Buy Cheap Fuel Cleaner buy this one. The cheap stuff loosens the sediment in your fuel tank but does not break it down so then it plugs up or clogs your fuel filter and makes it hard for you car to start or not start at all. Buy a can of this put it in a full tank of gas, take the car on the highway, take it up to at least 65 mph for about 20 to 30 minutes so as to blow out all the sediment in your gas tank and the intake of your engine. After about 2 to 3 days you'll see the difference, if you do not notice a difference and your car is still running poorly then I would take it to a mechanic or get and OBD2 Reader to see what's wrong with your car. Used this product in 3 different vehicles seemed to work just fine I would recommend.The hardest part is opening the can & pouring it in the tank before a complete fill up.

This was listed as a two pack, which is misleading...it's one can + a funnel, that's how they get "Two Pack." The first time I used it, I noticed an immediate power boost. This, the second, time, I didn't notice much of a difference in performance. It's worth a try if your car is hesitating.

Read a lot of great reviews on this and figured I'd give it a shot. My Santa Fe would idle rough after driving and then slowing down, such as stopping at an off-ramp of the interstate. So far I'm not having the rough idle issue anymore. The gas mileage was consistently a few more miles-per-gallon around town while in eco mode. I'll likely buy this again. **Bring a bag to put the funnel in after you've poured it in the tank and filled up at the gas station, so you can wash and reuse it later.

Tests have shown that BG44K and Techron are two of the most effective fuel system cleaners on the market. The simple addition of this cap less fuel tank funnel makes this super convenient

This is a serious additive! I am not a fix-in-a-can kind of guy, but a friend that works at the dealership strongly recommended this. I was going to do a seafoam treatment through a vacuum tube, and he urged me to try BG44K. WOW! After running through a full tank with the additive, there is no sputter, hesitation, or rough idle. Checked mileage after the next tank and went from an overall avg of 23.8 mpg to 25.9 (and I did more city than highway on this tank!) I could not be more impressed. My 202K mile Subaru, is running like a champ again!
