The monotone colored keys on a standard keyboard aren't interesting enough to keep his interest very long, but these colored stickers do the trick. They are organized by one color per finger. So while most fingers get a single row (i.e. all the reds belong to the left ring finger), the index fingers are responsible for two rows and are color coordinated accordingly. The colors are very visually enticing. Both upper and lower case letters are included on each of the letter stickers and the number stickers have a character symbol on them. The stickers come as a single sheet and are easily applied to the keyboard. In my opinion, shipping on this product did not have to be as expensive as it was. They could have easily have shipped it in a standard envelope for the cost of a stamp. In fact, it came inside an envelope that was placed inside a small cardboard box. The product itself is a quality product and a great tool for helping anyone become acquainted with a keyboard. It throws me off when I'm typing because it makes it harder to feel the little bumps that let you know your fingers are positioned properly for touch typing. I also wish they had used a different color for 1qaz- they are black and my keyboard is already black so it doesn't stand out like the other keys. The stickers have stayed on, very sturdy, and it's been a few months. No signs of peeling.
