A: No

**Q: Is it nsf certified**
A: I do not know;however, this is a very cheaply manufactured item...I returned it...

**Q: does this keep moving and talking until turned off?  or does it only go for a minute or two then stop?**
A: you have to turn it off the button so that it stops moving, I got damaged the first time I buy it ...

**Q: How do you open the battery compartment.  Maybe I’m too old to figure it out, but please someone explain how to open it so I can put batteries in it.**
A: I believe there's a battery compartment on the belly. You may have to slide the door towards the rear . if not, there may be a tiny screw that needs to be removed. I'm not impressed with the battery compartment because its always opening during play. I'd be afraid a young toddler would get the battery in his or her mouth.
