International Carry-On Spinner

Smart Looking Little Bag! This bag looks great and performs well. It is lighter than my other "lightweight" bag, and I noticed right away! This bag easily fits in all the overheads, and I can always lift it! It holds a lot, because there is actually room for clothing extending down between the wheels of the suitcase. The spinner wheels are very smooth rolling. There are two exterior zip pockets: one 17" length pocket, and a "shorty" pocket approx. 7.5". They mention two two sturdy cushion handles, one on top and one on the side, however, there is also a hidden cloth handle/grip between the wheels. If the suitcase were on it's back, you would grab it between the wheels with this hidden cloth "handle" and the top handle to lift it. Quite handy. I like that the inside zip top is completely mesh and zippered all around. I use it for my small laptop when I am carrying one. The handle is sturdy, too. Love this bag!

For those that are not aware, the size limitations for carry-on luggage, for non-US carrier carriers, within the EU are different than in the US. The size of the carry-on is much smaller and the regional EU airlines regularly enforce the size and weight limits. This bag is the only high-quality, light-weight, carry-on that meets the EU requirements. The bag rolls smoothly, has a strong handle and the wheels did not break as they rolled over the cobblestone streets in Italy. The light weight allows you to pack more into the bag without going over the 17lb limit that most carriers require. I was able to fit 2 week's worth of clothing for a trip.

Bought specifically to meet European very restrictive airline carry on requirements (e.g., Lufthansa). Quality: Smooth & sturdy rolls, great zippers, sturdy fabric, very light weight for 4 wheel carry on. Greatest pro: extremely spacious considering the size. Was able to fit in (for fall season): 3 pairs of pants, 3 sweaters, one puffer vest, one Helly Hansen crew rain jacket, one long wool coat (not lined), one Jeans Jacket, one dress, one skirt, 1pair of ballet flats, one pair of sneakers, 3 scarves, 3 tshirts, underwear and stockings. (Note I am not tiny but wear size XL) Bag was pre-checked by Lufthansa before boarding. Size was fine but had to take wool coat out b/c overall weight was exceeding max weight limits. After I obtained my ‘carry on approved’ tag from Lufthansa, I put my coat back in and had no further issues. ;-) Will most likely buy more for rest of family.

I've used this for a couple of domestic trips and not been flagged once for having to check it. My old bag was 2" taller and was just enough to draw the eye of any gate agent looking for a reason to check your bag. It is very light, so you aren't sacrificing weight for clothing to your bag. I like that it uses the space in between the spinner wheels to increase the inside storage space. It's not much, but pack your heaviest articles that will fit in that space and it'll keep the bag stable when rolling along. I've used this and a travel backpack (fits under the seat) and between them I was able to back for two week-long trips with no checked bags. One was in late fall the other was December in New York, so it required bulkier clothing. So far, it's a good bag. If it holds up well (the main reason I bought this particular bag was durability expectations), then I think it's a winner.

The size of the TravelPro Maxlite 5 Compact Carry-on 20” is exactly as stated. (I measured it). Which means that it’s very small for a 5 day trip. This carry on meets the size limits of Hawaiian Airlines. I didn’t check it in, so I can’t comment on it’s durability at being thrown around. All I did was put it in the car, wheel it to the gate, put it in the overhead bin, wheel it to my hotel room, and vice versa. It survived. This is my 1st spinner bag. I had a 2-wheeler which always tipped over, so I wanted 4 wheels to prevent tipping. I expected this not to tip at all, but it did tip over once at the airport. Of course right in front of TSA check point. So, it’s not 100% tip-proof. Pros: -very lightweight -rolls easily on flat surfaces -doesn’t tip most of the time -seems durable enough (strong zippers zipped, powerscope handle went up and down, carry handles seem strong, softside is strong material which didn’t rip, wheels didn’t break, hold straps worked inside) Cons: -I aired it out for a whole week in the garage and backyard. Still has strong odor. -rollers got caught on some cracked/stone walkways -the expandable feature is a joke. It’s only about 1.5”x8.5” expanding. Maybe 1 pair of W sized 12 jeans. The reason is that only a portion of the bottom expands; the top 1/2 of the suitcase tapers to “non-expanding”. This case does not deserve ‘expandable’ in the description. -when you open the suitcase on a rack, the lid does not stay straight open. Because the bag tapers, the lid is at an odd angle and it falls over. I didn’t like this at all. It seems that after a lot of traveling you are putting stress on the lid hinge and it won’t last long. Plus, it kept falling over and doesn’t stay open. -the front pocket is almost useless. I couldn’t fit my paperback book in it. Overall, the case is ok. It’s not perfect, and I think it’s overpriced. I was disappointed in the so-called expandable feature and i don’t like that the lid doesn’t stay straight open. But it should serve it’s purpose and hopefully it lasts for a long time.

Excellent lightweight suite case. Fits perfectly as a carryon on all my flights. Rollers are smooth. Way better value than other trendy brands.

It's a great carry-on luggage that will last a long time. Pros: -It's very light -Inside compartments makes organizing easier -On the smaller side of carry-on so it will never fail the carry-on size test -Looks very nice and can be used for business and vacation travels -Got beat up a few times - saw airport baggage workers throwing stuff around for transport lol. It still looks brand new Cons: -The wheels, while work well enough, feel somewhat cheap?? -If you travel more than 4 days at a time, the size 20 isn't for you - it will not have enough space for your stuff

Well made suitcase, which is suitable for up to three nights away. Plenty of pockets and zipped areas to keep items seperate. It's very light and easy to manouver, either on two wheels or four.

Te quality feels great. But the zippers could flow more.
