These sausages are delicious the texture is good the taste is scrumptious! I eat two of these with a cheese sticks for lunch. I open and then put in the fridge. These are not spicy and taste great! Very good quality.

Excellent smoked flavor and great taste. Great quality and they always taste fresh. Great smoked smell and excellent low calorie quick snack.

"Updated" Frankly after going through the whole pack I decided that my initial review needed an update, Initially I wasn't much found of the taste and flavor profiling but overall after eating the whole pack I can safely say these are just way much less salty than my other favorite brands so you wont feel super thirsty after eating a few pieces of it and spiciness is just right but if you are looking for something really hot and spicy I don't think this would meet your expectations. Overall will be a new addition to my list of favorites, will buy again on occasions. "Initial review" "it was my first to try these and most likely will be my last, taste was not up to my expectation overall but can't say I totally disliked them either. it's on average side of taste profile for me, and packaging could definitely improve to preserve the taste and shelf-life, perhaps have it vacuum sealed packed would be a much better idea and presentation. It will goes down to your personal preference on these if you like slightly more vinegary type of flavor."

I'm not sure if it's the spices they use or the fact they double smoke these sausages, but they are extremely tasty. Better than most I've had and I've had a lot. They come in a ziplock bag for easy storage and were cheaper than most others as well. Definitely a 5 star buy

My brother doesn't have as high an opinion of these, at least in part because he wants to wolf them down, which is not the intention. These aren't slim jims etc with too much moisture, salt, and artificial flavors or crap filler. These actually are Cattleman style... where you want to make a little, last a long time (kind of like biltong and other types of jerky, in the great outdoors, popular in places like Africa and Australia.). You're supposed to eat them slow, savor them, and suck the flavor out. They're "too dry" in my brother's opinion, but that's by design. Less moisture means they keep better, and won't get moldy as quickly when you're keeping them in a saddlebag or backpack or are out in variable (e.g., wet, humid) weather conditions. (Multiple times, I've had major mainstream brand stuff arrive already moldy, nowhere close to expiration and straight from the warehouses. But I've never had that kind of quality issue with Cattleman's Cut.)

Good flavor, texture not what I wanted - they were quite dry, much closer to jerky than sausage.

I did really enjoy these meat sticks but the last 2 bags I’ve gotten Not so much. They must have changed the casing It’s very chewy and tough it’s either the casing. Or there not filling them as much as you can see from the picture. There not full
