Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask (1.7 fl oz)

I absolutely love this mask. It works very well, is easy to apply, and leaves the skin looking brighter, smoother, and refreshed. I have used it several times with excellent results, and it performs exactly as expected. This is definitely one of the products I would purchase again.

So I've just turned 38 and used this for the first time on my 38th birthday! What with running around behind a toddler, winter skin (sallow and dry) and just generally neglecting my beauty reginem for a while now, my face has seen better days! The main things I'm trying to address before the summer are some hyperpigmentation (dark spots-- I'm olive-skinned and this is a big problem for me) along my jawline and even a bit down onto my neck from a breakout a couple of months ago as well as general dullness and uneven skin tone. Big, congested pores on my nose and inner cheeks (adjacent to my nose). I've also purchased a few other new products - the Acure brightening facial scrub (BUY THIS!!) and the Athena Beauty and Soul facial wash to be switched-off every other day - and used this mask after using the facial wash. I applied it with a facial application brush (for a few bucks, it's definitely worth buying so as not to waste product and get a nice, even coat). I have very sensitive skin and can't stand artificial fragrances nor many commercially-used preservatives (yes, I'm that sensitive!). Someone mentioned the cinnamon as the ingredient that causes burning for some people; with all due respect, that's utterly ridiculous. Cinnamon powder is, literally, the LAST ingredient. It's not burning anyone's skin. Folks: This is an ACID mask. Glycolic acid to be exact. If you have sensitive skin (or just aren't used to acid treatments), it will most likely tingle. That said, it's only 1% Glycolic, so nowhere near the strength of an actual glycolic peel. Even so, I was a little scared to use it because I did try an actual peel years ago and it DID burn my skin, leaving what looked like road rash along my jawline which then left hyperpigmentation for MONTHS afterwards. It looked like a beard....not quite what I was going for! But I digress... back to this mask. I would describe the feeling for just the first couple of minutes as a "strong tingle". I wouldn't say it rises to the level of burning. That's not to say that someone with even more sensitive skin couldn't experience burning, but just my experience with my otherwise sensitive skin. If you've ever made yourself an at-home (DIY) face mask and used lemon or apple cider vinegar, then this mask tingled less than ACV for me. I left it on for 10 minutes that first time and removed it with a wet, tepid washcloth. My skin felt nice and smooth and soft (though the scrub mentioned above had left it feeling that way the day before, so hard to say if it was even smoother!). I had a tiny spot on the bridge of my nose and another on one temple that were a little pink and felt a little sensitive, but I just held a cool washcloth on there for twenty seconds or so and followed with a light moisturizer and it feels fine now (the next morning) with no marks or darkening of the skin. And actually, this morning, I feel like the skin in those spots is just a bit smoother than the adjacent skin, so maybe it would have been good if my whole face had had that little bit of extra tingle? Anyway.... Overall, I'm really happy with the first run! No dry, flaky skin. No peeling. It may be wishful thinking, but I feel like my overall skin tone is slightly more even this morning (my husband thinks so too). I'll definitely keep using this once a week and will update my review if and when I see any longer-term effect on the hyperpigmentation (no quick fixes for that, I'm afraid). So far, so good!

Application is easy sometimes I just use it as a spot treatment you get a good amount for the price and it works pretty well my skin feels great and it helps bring down a pesky breakout not to mention it smells amazing!!

I never write reviews but this mask is incredible, especially for the price point. It tingles a bit but leaves your skin SO glowy and gorgeous. I’m 35 and get mistaken for much younger. Highly recommend! Just make sure you’re using spf daily as well

First let me say, if I took the time to actually sit and write a product review, the tried item must be either REALLY good or REALLY bad. I want everyone to know this stuff is AMAZING and I can’t wait to try more of the products in this line. I’ve been looking for something similar to a product I used in the past. The old one was $70 (plus shipping) and because of “COVID” shipping times are usually well over a week before I got the stuff. I’m impatient. Ordered this product last night and less than 24 hours later, I am happy to say I am completely 100%satisfied with the results I got. The texture is nice and thick and it stays in place and doesn’t drip off your face. You can feel it “working” about 5 seconds after application. It doesn't burn but it does create a nice tingle that lets you know it’s working. Not too much though. After about 15 mins, I wiped it off with a washcloth and I felt like I wiped away the last years worth of dead and built up right with it. It left my skin looking sun kissed. Like that kind of glow you get when you go to the beach and the salty air and sand naturally exfoliates you’re skin. Not red, pink and healthy. Skin is soft and pores are smaller. I have oily skin and I have to exfoliate often. I would pay $15 for just one treatment and it looks like there may be 15+ uses in the jar. Packaging is very nice as well. Highly recommend! I hope this product finds its way to your doorstep and you get the results I did. 5plus stars. I’m so glad I found this!!

Amazing! I bought 2 by mistake and I am glad I did. The scent is very natural, it does not smell like cosmetics, but more like pumpkin puree. Beware: It tingles! It left a burning sensation for at least 2-3min and then it went away. I am not a dermatologist, but I assumed this is common with acid based masks and peels. (I would not use it if I had sensitive or problematic skin, a rash or a wound. But, again, I am not a doctor). I left it for 10min or so (I will leave it longer next time). It does not dry on the skin. I rinsed with cold water, following package directions. It’s a bit hard to rinse with just your hands and water due to the thick consistency, but this does not bother me. I used a soft wash cloth and cold water to gently remove the mask. I followed with hyaluronic acid gel cream and my skin feels super soft and supple. I like it so much better than the acid mask by Drunk Elephant and it’s $70 less! I will keep repurchasing and using it once a week! Thank you!!

I used to LOVE this mask before the new formula. I’ve bought it at least 20 times over the years and have recommended it to all of my friends and family who also started using it and loving it. I just received my first “New Look” mask and it is absolutely awful. I don’t feel a single tingle when I put it on, not a single burning sensation the entire 20 minutes. The texture is also completely different and feels more smooth, like honey. The previous texture felt more like pumpkin and you could actually see little specks of…. I don’t know what, but it felt and looked more natural. Andalou Naturals - Please, please, please go back to the old formula that actually worked. This was my favorite mask of all time and now I’m going to have to look for something else 😞

This glycolic acid mask isn’t for people with sensitive skin. Even with a normal skin, don’t do the mask for more than once a week and definitely follow with a good, thick moisturizer. Overtime it removes imperfections.

Una delle migliore, se non la migliore maschera provata. La mia pelle si illumina e praticamente “brilla” con un uso regolare di questa maschera alla zucca. A qualcuno potrebbe non piacere l’odore intenso di purè di zucca, ma a me non dà fastidio.

This mask is incredible. The consistency is a little bit thinner because it’s natural. It looks a lot like pumpkin purée, and smells incredible. I bought this one last January and just finished the jar about a month ago. A little goes a long way with any Andalou masks I’ve tried. I use a few of their face masks depending on how my skin is behaving. This is my go to for a soft exfoliating mask. It is refreshing and does a nice job of leaving my skin silky smooth and clear. Try it!!!

I got this after reading reviews on Apple news and I have to say it’s a lovely mask, tingles a bit which I know it’s meant to. Skin felt nice and soft and left my skin glowing. Definitely recommend
