great product
I have white hair and you have to be careful that shampoos don't dry your hair. This is a great, yet very cleaning shampoo. The conditioner is great as well. My hair is soft and well moisturized.

Love this stuff!
First of all, I always use hair products for at least 2 weeks before submitting a review. I have used products that were amazing the first one or two uses and then frizzed me out like a pomeranian by week 2.I am a part Puerto-Rican naturally curlied beauty with 3b extremely thick curly hair. I tried this conditioner based on the reviews on naturally curly website and the price. I use A LOT of conditioner since I cowash everyday with it. I only use shampoo once a week. I needed a cheaper alternative. I tried this and I absolutely love it! A few tips that worked for me:1. I have to use a lot of it. Using a lot seems to make a big difference. When I use a little, it is as if I haven't used any conditioner at all and my hair does not look as good.2. The texture of this is similar to Tresemme. So, I have started using some Tresemme in between and it seems to do a good job. Tresemme is definitely not as good as this. Tresemme leaves more frizz in my hair than this does, but alternating between the two seems to make this last longer for me. I will order the larger size of this next time.3. I noticed my skin cleared up around my forehead by using this conditioner and my scalp did not itch as much. My other expensive salon brand curly conditioner was so moisturizing that it was causing my skin on my forehead to break out! So, I now use that one as a deep conditioning treatment and use this as my main cowash. The results are wonderful for me.I can see how this product might not work for all types of hair. Especially with the 4+, but it definitely is good for some of us. I say give it a try, the price can't be beat and you never know what will work for your hair!

Best conditioner I've used so far
Best conditioner I've used so far! I'm African-American with extremely low-porosity hair (when I do the strand test, the only way the strand will sink is if the water evaporates). Compared to other conditioners I've used--and there have been many---this does the best job of softening and moisturizing my hair and keeping it that way. My only tiny complaints are that it does leave a residue on my scalp, and that it's so hard to find.

Heaven Sent
I love this conditioner and the shampoo is fantastic also! It's a great dynamic duo! Leaves my hair moist and soft. Used as a leave- in; detangling is a breeze. The smell is absolutely wonderful! love it, love it,love it!

A++ for shampoo, conditioner is eh
Shampoo: I give the shampoo a 5 star all across the board! It's the first shampoo marketed as moisturizing that actually is and genuinely doesn't strip the hair of anything, but cleans really well! It smells nice, the price is right, what else could you want in a shampoo? I just wish it was more easily accessible.Conditioner: Okay, I heard awesome things about this conditioner and was so excited to try it out for my endlessly dry curly hair. I like that it's so moisturizing and can be used for both regular conditioning and as a leave in, but the god awful smell makes me never want to use it again! I tried getting past it and I just can't!

Great shampoo, lame conditioner
The shampoo has a pleasantly subtle scent and even though I use it with every wash (couldn't get into the no 'poo routine), my curls feels hydrated. I use so little of it at a time that the bottle still lasts forever even with my constant use.The conditioner definitely drops the ball. The slip is so bad is requires excessive amounts of the conditioner despite my just barely shoulder length hair. It also smells very strongly like dog shampoo, a scent that sticks with me through the day despite every other product used over it. It's distractlingly terrible smelling to me.I really like the shampoo and will continue to purchase it, but never the conditioner again.

Worth A Try...
So... I've tried various types of leave-in conditioners with the goal of softer hair and more defined curls and I've ultimately fallen short. I have type 3c/4a hair and this product works wonders! I use it as a leave-in along with either olive oil or coconut oil and by the end of the day my curls haven't dried out like a craison. I am beyond ecstatic that I found a new product that works for my hair, I have tried several products over the years and when I find a new one that works for my hair I tend to buy in bulk because there are so many products out there and I don't have the time or the money to try all of them. This one is definitely a winner that I will keep in my arsenal. Especially now that it's summer and I am in need of some extra conditioning to fight the heat and split ends. I tried the smaller bottle and now I'm purchasing the largest one! To me the price is affordable when compared to other products so it's a sure WINNER!

Hands down the best leave in conditioner that I have tried
I am SO thankful that I found this conditioner! This is one of the few conditioners out there that doesn't contain 'cones OR glycerin, which is necessary for me as I follow the Curly Girl method and I live in an area that exceeds 90% humidity for the better part of the year. Humectants + humidity for my low porosity hair leads to an all out frizz fest. I use a quarter sized amount on my shoulder length 3A hair, and it leaves my curls bouncy, shiny, and incredibly healthy looking.I see that a few reviews for this product say this dried out their hair. This product is quite high in proteins, so to those that are protein sensitive, this product probably isn't for you. If you are unsure, an easy way to test for protein sensitivity is to take a small strand of hair that isn't easily visible, smother it in coconut oil or mayonnaise, and rinse it out in the shower. If that strand is brittle or dry afterward, you are likely protein sensitive.
