But. *by H***H on October 5, 2019* I have never previously used a tablet to clean a washing machine but our was seriously stinking. These got rid of the smell! I had to run two cycles (so used 4 tablets), as after the first cycle I still could smell the funk somewhat. Caution— I washed sheets after the second cleaning cycle and as soon as we put them on my son’s bed all three of us started to itch and breakout. I looked at the box and it said that the ingredients were an irritant! We all washed off, no big deal. Changed the sheets. What I think happened was that my idiotic washer didn’t actually run the full cleaning cycle so there was still cleaning residue left that I didn’t see. Just thought I would warn others to make sure the washer runs for the full time! The other slightly off putting thing about these is they are all wrapped in plastic, which is a personal pet peeve of mine when things claim to be eco friendly.
