Only issue was the flap – it tends to bang about in the wind, which got a bit annoying, especially at night. I added some small foam pads either side of the flap to soften the impact, and that’s sorted it right out. Overall, a good bit of kit, just needed a little DIY touch to make it perfect.

**Q: Would this be suitable for an outlet for a cooker extractor fan?**
A: it would extract the smell of the cooking but whether it would be better than a cooker extractor i'm not sure.

**Q: How do you stop the flap opening and closing in the wind? It makes alot of noise when it is closing.**
A: Unfortunately, like all tumble drier vent covers, the flaps will flap in the wind.
They have to be loose to enable the internal air to escape outside.
However, this type of vent has more protection than most others from wind due to the outer hood.

**Q: Does this vent home in grey ? Thanks**
A: brown or white only I think.

**Q: Hi does it come with the screws**
A: Hi l didn’t use screws due to having to drill at height. I siliconed it on. This does prevent rain water seeping down the back. I also put a strip of very thin foam on the flap as it can be quite noisy when windy.

Decent quality vent, fits well and does the job. Looks neat once installed and allows good airflow. Wow Much better than the previous one I bought Easy to fit. Internal flap actually closes nicely in my opinion Only downside is that it is far too big for the vent size it fills.
