It worked better than I anticipated when I started-had a dishpan full of tools that had rusted after being left out in the yard for 2 years-I really thought all was lost, but I was able to salvage 80%. Able to soak these tools over night in this solution, and nearly all the rust came right off. No luck. I bought this and it worked better but the instructions say that if the solution turns black to discard and not re-use. It turned black. and my grates were not completely rust free.
