Just what I needed and that is a charger that wouldn’t shut down and not restart because of low voltage and many do and have to be reset but this one is bulletproof, no connection for device and I never used anyway just panels and battery and my device connects to battery and charger keeps it going even if voltage gets low because of bad weather when the sun comes back it get to work charging

If you bought one of the cheap $10 blue solar panel controllers, and you had a whole lot of trouble getting hands on a gauge of wire small enough to fit in their tiny connectors, and stripped wires 3 times at lease, just to have it all fall out, then THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED. I screwed each wire in, within 10 minutes, no frustrating do-overs or readjustments, or experimenting with duct tapes! I set the battery type manually and was done, as satisfied as can be. Not having a USB or light connections like the cheap blue ones, (I think the brand is Flying Lion btw)... is a bummer, but at this point, I am happy my setup works again! And I can even get a larger gauge wire in there if i wanted! Even the screw was bigger, and required a bigger phillips screw driver (cross size). It clamps down on the cords soooo well!

Easy install, worked great. would get 5 stars if it had bluetooth installed, but I use my battery's to monitor.

This product is great I run my renogy solar panel through it! I also run x2 Renogy power inverters a 2000 W and a 1500 W and a renogy power converter as well! This is the only brand I trust because their customer service is always 100% on point very easy to work with and understand what parts are needed. Highly recommend this product.

This works really good I like the three different settings for sealed batteries, flooded batteries, or lithium. I started to send it back because I didn't really need it but then I canceled my return and decided to keep it

I've been using solar devices for years. I decided it was time to upgrade my charge controller so I ordered the Renogy product. WHAT A MISTAKE! For those familiar, all you do is attach the appropriate wire to the appropriate hole, then tighten with screw. Well, Renogy uses the same crappy screws the $5 controller does. If you don't get it right the first time, you are f#$&ed. The screws lock in position and there is no moving the screw to try to get a better hold on the wire. And, it's always the first screw you use that gets stuck. So, just like the crappy controllers, you put the wire where it needs to be and use electrical tape to hold fast. Sure, I could return it and save myself $30, but I'd be without solar until the replacement arrives .... Again. I'm so sick and tired of manufacturers selling crap. Then there's the instruction pamphlet that references varies colors but everything is in black and white. Further, the lights are supposed to flash either fast or slow .... but they don't bother to instruct which is fast and which is slow. One second? A nanosecond? Use your words and buy some crayons, Renogy ....

No complaints at all so far. Plugged a 160W Kings Folding panel into it, and in late afternoon, Winter sun on the east coast of Australia, angled towards the sun the best I could, I was pulling 7.85A out of this controller which is more than enough to keep my fridge running indefinitely off my lithium battery. Don't let people tell you that an MPPT is superior, because for small panels, there's very little difference in my experience. Excellent controller that I bought as a backup in case my CTEK blows an internal fuse (again) and is totally useless. Build quality is good, hard plastic with an aluminium base plate. The grub screws hold 8AWG cable very well and it won't pull out on their own easily. The LED indicators are very bright and easy to see in sunlight too.

I brought this as an upgrade from one of the unbranded charger controllers to give me some room to upgrade and as with all the other Renogy kit I've installed it hasn't disappointed. Holds a better charge voltage for longer delivering more amps and handles cloudy cover better than the cheap unit. Worth the money if you're not splashing out on an MPPT.

I bought this charge controller to replace the very cheap and nasty default controller that came with my solar panels. This one works very well. Simple to use, just has solar in and battery out. No load connections, and for my set-up that is perfect as load is directly off the battery. The controller has start, bulk and float charge modes. There is a maintenance mode but that hasn't been activated yet. I also bought the BT01 adapter so I can use the app to monitor it.

I bought this as the charger with my panel doesn't support LiFePo4, this does the job, the real reason to get this the bluetooth adaptor to monitor your charging rate. Is a bit bulky, so I had to make a bracket to mount it.
