Diamond Select Toys Marvel Select Beast Action Figure

Very well sculpted. Stylistically, it reminds me of campy 1940s-1950s monster horror flicks. The Wolf Man, etc. The sort of things that inspired the creation of the furry Beast character to begin with. Which, to me, is awesome. The face bears a distant resemblance to Nick Cave. Every detail is etched in with almost statue-worthy clarity. The paint is blue, with black washes to make the detail crisp. Even the tongue inside the mouth is well painted, as is individual teeth. Well worth the buy. While I can see that die-hard fans of the 90s Beast aesthetics might prefer the Legends version, and the Legends version looks to be far more poseable (though this Select isn't bad in that regard) I think the vast improvement in quality of sculpt detail and paint application in this figure makes this one preferable.

Good quality figure if you're looking for a perfect marvel beast! This one is a very high detail figure, about 7inches tall. Came with box and a background stand! Articulation is moveable from head to toes and strong joints! Touch Feels real with pointy hair. Durable figure!

I’ve seen pics and I wasn’t impressed with the design choice, but I wanted a Beast figure and this was the best deal. In hand, it’s actually very good! I like it more than rogue, surprisingly. The head-sculpt looks great in person. I still wish there was an alternate head with glasses and an intelligent expression, but this will do.

The Beast is a great toy. He has lots of moveable parts and an awesome face. Neat blue color too. A great toy and my grandson who is 6 absolutely loves this thing. I gotta admit, I kinda like it too.

Diamond Select came so close to making this the definitive Beast figure; the sculpt is highly detailed, the paint application is on-point, and the articulation is far better than we usually get from Marvel Select figures. If only they had put this kind of effort into a more classic/iconic version of Beast. This figure's proportions are more suitable for a character like Venom than Beast. The fierce facial expression looks great on this figure, though I REALLY wish we'd gotten an alternate head with a more thoughtful expression (since Beast is supposed to be a deep thinker and a friendly genius). Though I don't love this sleek and aggressive take on Beast, the quality is top notch and I definitely like the figure.

I really like this figure. He is a little oversized compared to other selects, but Beast is usually in a crouched position anyway. Great sculpt and paint apps. For that, I am always drawn to Marvel select figured

I got this as a gift fot my Xmen obsessed 8 year old. He absolutely loves it. It is pretty cool-articulated wrists, ankles, knees, elbows etc so very poseable and fun to play with but also very thick and sturdy. It seems very well made. Even my 19 year old was impressed.

Looks pretty good with good articulation for a select figure. I collect select figures to display on my shelf and Beast fits right in.
