Excellent quality
Very delicious. From Figi. A little on the mild side in flavor. I wish it was lower in sugar. Excellent quality, no stringy, chewy pieces, just soft, succulent ginger. For me very addictive, I could eat the whole bag at one time if I let myself.😊 Packaged well and delivered well. No complaints!

Delicious but quite scanty
They're very tasty and aren't hard, which is great. The downside is that you don't get very many for the price.

Updated review - Dec 2025 Unfortunately, I must change my rating from five stars to one star. I again ordered for my Christmas fruit cakes. However, the ginger was moist in the bag when it should have been dry as with my prior order. After an easy refund through Amazon, I re-ordered but unfortunately encountered the same problem. I sent contacted the company, and they said some moisture may be expected. However, what I received is clearly excessive and not what their product has looked like before in the past. I cannot recommend at this time. Jan 2025 - Fantastic quality for my Christmas fruitcakes!

Been a while since I'd had any GINGER PEOPLE product. Good stuff, just wish I'd gotten a bigger package.

Heat damaged, threw it away.
I've tried to buy this 4 times. 3 times it was heat damaged and I got a refund. At first I thought it was delivery damage but after ordering during the cold months and getting the same damaged product, I have no idea anymore. I really want this to work and I'm really frustrated that I have to give up on it. The product that I received was wet, gooey, and inedible. I think this is heat damage. I threw it away. v.2 When it isn't ruined, it's big chunks of very sweet mild ginger. I like this style but it's a lot of sugar.

Ginger is good for stomach upsets. I always take some when travelling. Chop up for stirfries or add to peanutbutter or ginger cookies. Always great quality.
