I gave this as a gift (I bought all types to make a set) and it was a hit Product was as described.

When I received this item, I was quite happy with the packaging. When I unwrapped the item... I was torn between two things. Will the purpose be conducive? and Will this item somehow fit with my decorating (contemporary) style? I looked it over and decided that the material was acceptable. The top gave me a sense of relief that it did not require unscrewing and pulling to remove it from the base or the possibility of cutting my hands on the sometimes excess material makers/manufactures don't bother to remove. I looked around, but to no avail did this item quite fit with my style. So I put the decorative box/cup in my meditation room. Later when I needed some me time, my eyes went right to the little box/cup. It fit right in! I study tarot cards and dowsing with pendulums and therefore found a purpose for this item. I put a couple of my pendulums inside the decorative cup, pulled out some of my cards, organized my reading table and found gratification in how well it fit into this part of my life! I have to say that I really like this item. It's small and seems to have no purpose at first glance, but boy did this turn out to be the opposite. I think my fellow dowsers will find this little item perfect for his/her pendulums, as well as, how well it fit with this type of setting. I did not give this items 5 stars because of how the flower piece was not properly aligned with the size of the top. The good thing is, they left me with the option of easily correcting this very minor flaw (flower attached with a wire to the tip/lid). Yet definitely deserves 4 stars for its capability of turning into a lovely "Swan" in my peaceful setting. :-)
