Packaged properly. But LaCie should about to start providing thunderbolt 4 cable with it instead of just USB 3.1/3.2 cable. But yeah it's a good product, value for money.

I have purchased this HDD bt within a month's this product slow down to the required speed ....i purchased for branding name bt this is my mistake

Ótimo produto

I got this in desperation, after my iMac decided it did not like WD for backing up. It still did not work with this LaCie. Frustrated, because this was a new drive and expensive, I narrowed down the issue to my RAM upgrade. As soon as I removed the faulty memory and replaced it with the original Mac memory, bam it did my backup in 20 minutes. It was an expensive purchase $160 for only 2TB, but this will be my trusty reliable backup drive for my iMac to come. I don't want to go through what I did again. Starting from scratch 3x. Without a backup because the Mac corrupted my other two WD drives with the backups. If you are on the fence, trust me when I say that in the end, it's not worth losing data and time to start over. The build is amazing. It's solid, small and has a led indicator light. Comes with two cables and Adobe Creative suite free trial. It's supposed to be rain proof, drop proof and can handle 1 ton runover by a truck. SHIPPING: Arrived sooner than expected with Prime in a bubble envelope no signature. No padded packaging by Amazon. Lucky I was home and saw it stuffed in my mailbox. If someone stole it, it would have been a nightmare. If it was not the Rugged LaCie, I would have returned it and asked for padded secure shipping. CON: the USB plug into the drive wobbles and does not fully insert. This is a problem if you travel or use this drive on the go. At home you can carefully leave it undisturbed, but why make something so solid to make a delicate USB connection? And this is the latest new drive from LaCie. They might have done this to make room for silicone, but it is better to have a secure connection. I tried removing the silicone protection and inserting the USB that way but it still does not fully click in and insert. There is a gap. Just be very careful about this. The quality otherwise feels amazing with it's thick aluminium casing. I still recommend it for MAC.

Arrivato nell'arco di una giornata, (come sono Amazon è in grado di fare). Acquistato con la formula rateale, sempre proposta da Amazon, in piccole rate, SENZA INTERESSI. Qualcuno dirà... paghi a rate per soli 100,00 euro? Io rispondo... perchè no? Non pago interessi quindi... trovo questa formula proposta da Amazon, validissima ed appetibile. Posso pagare a piccole rate? Senza interessi? Perchè no...? L'Hard Disck, è arrivato ben confezionato, completamente blisterato, in una robusta scatola compreso di tutto, anche del cavetto USB 3.0. Avevo già di questi cavetti ma, fa sempre piacere quando uno strumento viene venduto con i relativi accessori, ciò, da sempre una buona immagine al prodotto stesso. Che dire, costa un pò ma, credo che questa marca (LaCie) sia valida. Sono affezzionato a questa marca in quanto posseggo, dal 2006, un vecchio disco da 500 GB (Design Porsche) molto bello, ancora perfettamente funzionante. Sicuramente più grande e non, pratico e di piccole dimensioni come questo ma, un prodotto eccellente. Di questo disco, ho apprezzato molto il rivestimento di protezione gommato che, non è, cosa da poco. Il colore (arancione) poi, permette di individuare subito il disco. Inoltre, amo questi colori fluo. Purtroppo, è un pò caro nel senso che, ci sono articoli da due (2) TB che costano meno ma, forse, valgono anche meno. Non sono abituato a soffermarmi sulle cose che, costano meno. Acquisto ciò che sta... nel mezzo! Il Disco, è arrivato con impostazione Ex FAT32 che, non era per me confacente. Ho riformattato il disco, ricevendo un primo rifiuto poi, ho ritentato correttamente con una impostazione NTFS da 4k e, tutto è andato a buon fine. Sul disco, solo presenti i collegamenti con il sito LaCie dove potete registrare il Vostro Disco. Riceverete, subito dopo, una e-mail di conferma/rimando, con i dati ed i numeri di serie dello strumento. Insieme, troverete delle proposte commerciale per il salvataggio ed il recupero dei dati nel tempo, in caso di anomalie. Ora, io so usare il PC ma, non sono un tecnico quindi, non chiedetemi a quanti MB lavora in ingrasso e poi in uscita. Funziona benissimo per ciò che a me serve (i dati personali di casa + foto + video). Devo dire che è molto preciso. Mi ha rifiutato il trasferimento di alcune foto/video ma credo, sia colpa del formato delle/degli stesse/i e non una anomali del disco in quanto ho verificato eventuali problemi ma, nulla. Il Disco, è "pulito". Grande capacità, ottimo design, grande leggerezza, pratico e funzionale. Per me, è veloce poi, sicuramente, qualche esperto in materia, mi potrà smentire. Sono soddisfatto dell'acquisto e, lo consiglio vivamente. Un saluto!
