I was struggling to cut slices of our crusty homemade bread with an old serrated bread knife. This new Victorinix knife is so sharp and easy to use! The slices cut through the crust without damaging the top if the loaf. Any variations in the slices are down to my skill or lack thereof. The knife is great. Be very careful when cleaning it, it will cut anything rubbed along the blade.

Surprisingly lightweight but cuts homemade sourdough bread really well. Very easy to cut very thin slices.

Excellent blade. Cuts really easily. It makes it easy to cut thin slices of bread. The handle is comfortable. It looks cheap, but the cost seems to have gone into the blade. If you want a good working knife at a reasonable cost it's the one for you, if you want a knife to look good on a display probably not.

Brilliant knife great for bread

This feels like a professional-quality knife at a very reasonable price. I wish I had bought it sooner — highly recommend for anyone who loves good bread and wants clean, perfect slices every time.

Finally a knife sharp enough to cut a crusty bloomer! I like the rounded end - a sensible safety feature as you really don't need a point on a bread knife. If you're at all careless be warned - it's VERY sharp, especially with the serrated edge which cuts through a tough loaf like butter!
