Christopher Nolan Collection [4K Ultra-HD] [2018] [Blu-ray]

A good collection of Nolan's filmography with a lot of extras to enjoy. Each movie is on its own case so the box-set package is quite big. The only con: I would like this collection to also include "Interstellar" but we can't have everything in life.

Great collection. Good money per value product. The quality is significantly better then any streamers. ( I bought the dark knight in Apple TV 4K ). It’s not even close. Recommend to all Nolan fans out there

Even though I thought the box would be different, not this thin piece of poster board, I can't be more satisfied. I bought this collection for my boyfriend because for this price it not only has The Dark Knight trilogy, it also includes Memento, The Prestige and Incepcion for just 32 pounds (when I bought it), awesome Nolan films. I bought it thinking that all movies would come with Castilian Spanish audio, but Memento doesn't. However, this collection is worth buying because in other countries there are only five films (they don't include The Dark Knight Rises).

I needed to justify the purchase of my 4K Blu Ray player, so the Nolan Collection was an obvious choice. I kept an eye on this set until the price was right, which thankfully didn't take long. The box set comes with three large plastic cases that house 7 discs each. What you get are all 7 films in 4K Blu-ray, the 7 standard Blu-ray copies, as well as a selection of special features on separate (standard) Blu-ray Disks. I had no issues with the quality of the discs, the cases or the housing. For me, not having individual cases isn't a big deal, but if that's what you're after this set might disappoint. I won't talk about the films themselves as if you're looking for a Nolan box set, you probably already know about them, but I will say that I have no complaints with regard to the quality of each 4k transfer, though it's a pity none support dolby vision. It always amuses me that including the standard Blu-ray seems to be standard practice for 4K releases, I can only assume they need to get rid of old stock. That said I doubt this would be much cheaper if they were excluded and they are always handy to lend to friends.

Very happy with my cinematic package purchase. Christopher Nolan, one of the very best directors, what more can anyone want for a great cinematic experience!

This collection is NOT completely region-free, but only "Memento" is Region B locked. Nevertheless, if you're a buyer from the U.S., that might not be a deal breaker. This is the only Christopher Nolan collection that has the entire new Batman trilogy. Similar collection was released in the U.S.; it has "Insomnia," but it doesn't have "the Prestige" or "the Dark Knight Rises." I don't think one would get the U.S. collection without getting "the Dark Knight Rises" separately, while "the Prestige" is also a better movie than "Insomnia," I think. Therefore, at least for me, who live in the U.S., I only need to replace "Memento," which is much cheaper than getting "the Dark Knight Rises" separately.

A wonderfully presented box set of "some" of the director's finest work. Across the board, the sound and picture quality is stunning. However, I admit that even after repeated viewing, I still find Inception absolutely baffling! I don't buy physical media very often, but am very pleased to own this box set.

Por alguna razón los discos 4k de The prestige e Intersellar no arrancan. Mi ps5 los reconoce pero no los carga. No se si fue mala suerte o es algo de mi play, pero eso me desilusionó... todos los blu-ray están bien. Creo que vale la pena ya que vienen todas las pelis en 4K, Blu-Ray y una tarcera caja con los materiales extra.

Picked this set up last month and it really is outstanding. I’ve watched 3 of the films so far (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and Interstellar) and the 4K transfers and audio tracks are all incredible. Knowing this is Region 2/B I was under the impression that the non-UHD discs would not work in my 4K Blu-Ray player. I was okay with that since I just wanted the 4K versions of these movies. That said I’ve tried out all of the Special Features BR discs and every one of them worked in my player. That was a nice bonus. Definitely worth the price if you’re a fan of Nolan or a collector of physical media.

Zu den Filmen kann man sicherlich nichts mehr schreiben. Jeder der eine Vorliebe für die Filme von Nolan hat kennt diese bereits. Da es hier keinerlei Rezensionen gibt, die etwas aufschlussreicher, mit den Angaben zu den Tonspuren sind. hier meine Erfahrung mit dieser Sammlung. Bis auf Dunkirk haben alle Filme in dieser Sammlung auf den 4k UHD's eine deutsche Tonspur. Die Blurays habe ich ehrlicherweise nicht getestet, denke aber, dass es das selbe sein wird. Dunkirk hat leider auch keine deutschen Untertitel. Da aber in dem Film nicht viel geredet wird, sollte man mit halbwegs passablem Schulenglisch die grundlegende Handlung verstehen. Die Sammlung kommt in einem Schuber in dem alle Fillme in einer Gesamzhülle platz haben. Einzelne Amaray Hüllen zu den einzelnen Filmen hätte ich persönlich bevorzugt. Für den aktuellen Preis von knapp unter 68,- E ist das aber zu verkraften. im Schnitt kostet also jeder Film 1x UHD + 1xBD keine 10,-E und dass ist ein absolut fairer Preis.
