DYMO 89465 Ballpoint Pen Black

When I first used this pen in the US - I audibly said, "Wow - this is so smooth!". It's the same reaction I get whenever I encourage other people to try the pen. It has ruined other pens now: They feel like scratching a jagged blade across paper.

I have always loved the quality and smooth writing of Papermate pens. Due to Papermate pens being a little more expensive than their competition, the Papermates pens I have bought in the past were used only in my office and I used cheap, stick pens for every day use in the field since most of the time I need to carry them in my front pants pocket and frequently loosing the plastic cap that covered the tip when not in use. One day while I was at the store to buy more of the cheap stick pens, I saw the Papermate Profile pens and bought a 5-pack of them to see how they would work as my everyday field pen. I found them to have extremely good durability considering I carry them in my front pants pocket of blue jeans or other heavy duty work pants. If I need them to mark a cutting point while doing construction, they will mark on wood, metal, plastic, or any material I have ever used them on, and then still write like the day they came out of the package new, on paper when I write out a receipt. Another thing they do that I have never found in a competitor's pen is begin writing from where I make contact with the paper or material as soon as I begin moving it. So many times with a competitor's pen, a customer would start giving me information I needed to write down, but when they would start, I would have to interrupt them to stop until I could find a scratch piece of paper or other surface to scribble on until it would begin writing and then apologize for the interruption and ask them to repeat it now that I had a working ink pen. With the Papermate Profile, I have never, and I mean "never" had that happen, and I'm on my third 12-pack of them. So to put it in a nut shell, I give them 5-stars for durability, 5-stars for retractability function, 5-stars for writing quality and comfort, and 5-stars with economics. There isn't a better ink pen on the market for what I need a pen for. Stop your R & D Papermate! They can't get any better for the price.

Smooth writing pens with a large ball point tip.

The grip on these pens is really comfortable. I have issues similar to arthritis in my hands and I find these are the most comfortable pens I've ever used. Good ink flow. Unfortunately, they run out of ink quite quickly. I can go through a box of pens in a few months. But I do find them worth it again because of the comfortable grip.
