Really helpful resource, made to go along with course
This book is a really helpful resource. It goes along with the Heatspring Solar PV Boot Camp + NABCEP PV Associate Exam Prep course. This is a really well done course, and it was instrumental in helping me pass the NABCEP PV Associate Exam. Sean White is a really good instructor. Definitely check out this course on the Heatspring website if you are wanting to get NABCEP certified, or if you are just interested in solar. It was a great resource for me.

Excellent and Enjoyable Book - but Won't Let You Take the Exam
Don't let the 4 stars misguide you - this is the best, most enjoyable study guide I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Matter of fact, as a 27 year old college grad, this is the only enjoyable study guide I've ever read. There is a huge miscommunication I experienced, that resulted in the 1-star drop: I thought I could master this study guide, and take the NABCEP PVA Exam. Nope, you either need work experience, or you need to pay for a course. I may do the later, but given that this is $10 and the course is $1,000, it's really taken the wind out of my sails. FWIW the exam is $150 and I knew that, but $840 makes a big difference for somebody that's trying to get an entry level job.

Taught me the terminology that was previously unfamiliar to me.
Well organized material about the basics of solar systems. Most important to me was learning the meaning of various terms as I consider building out a solar system.

Paperback
Understandable content but the font/type size is vary small. I wear glasses it makes it a hard read and can only read so much at a time do to the strain. Would like to see this in a larger book or a larger font.
