Well i bought this to be a second anchor on a new to me boat. This way I'll have one for the bow and one for the stern, that way i can keep the boat from drifting around. I received my anchor last night and when i pulled it out of the package, i found something "interesting" When they plastic coated it, they dipped the whole thing in. Then never cleaned out one of the most important parts of the anchor design, the piviot for the anchor shovel. It was so well glued together that i couldn't just expect it to free up with a little pressure. I had to cut the plastic/rubber coating off, and then free it up by shoving a pick in the hinge until it loosened up. For the rest of the anchor, i like the idea of the rubber coating and I'll see how it performs next to a uncoated anchor.
