Fabric looks durable and comes with a tie which is handy to use on those windy days when you want the umbrella to stay collapsed. I really like the stripe pattern. Goes well with our other patio furniture. I am hoping the fabric holds up to the intense UV we have here in Southern California. The fabric is heavier/thicker than our previous umbrella so the shade is darker, too. Glad I bought it and would buy again. ### ⭐ Solar does not work and CS is useless *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2020* The umbrella itself looks great and it does exactly what a umbrella should but the solar is completely ineffective and the customer service is even worse! I have sent several emails to the company telling them that the solar is not working only to receive replies like ‘Have you turned on the switch?’ ‘Do you know how to open the umbrella?’ Seriously?!I would LOVE this solar umbrella if it did was it was supposed to. And I would really have appreciated a little more assistance from the company in fixing the issue. I’m still waiting! Thought it was a great find. We used it a few times, kept in inside when not in use. I set it up on a nice day. Not windy-maybe a small breeze. I stepped inside and heard a noise. My whole patio table had blown over and my new umbrella was snapped in half. The company and amazon offered to replace it-i accepted but the color was on backorder. They graciously refunded my money. I loved the style and color but the pole was pretty flimsy.
