Flexible rubber hose with bee-hole sized end piece is well-suited for aiming the foam into the bee hole. Yes-- there is a good bit of foam that gets dispensed. This is good for forcing it into all the crevices that you cannot see. I used this after most of my carpenter bees had left the area, but there were a few stragglers. I found several dead carpenter bees on the ground the next day. So, it definitely works as a bee killer.
