AM33945 Cookson Elect Flow-Temp Lead-Free Plumbing Solder, No Size, No Color

My project was simple, I needed to add a second pressure reducer to my irrigation system. My house water pressure is so high that 1 reducer would not suffice. This project required me to sweat a couple of copper fittings/pipes on the outside of my house. For the record, I did use flux. This solder worked well. The fittings all sealed nicely and the second pressure reducer addressed my irrigation issue.

I like this solder because it doesn't contain flux and it's lead free which means i don't have to worry about using the wrong solder for the job. It's great for soldering plumbing, electrical, and stainless steel parts. It's also tougher and has a higher melting point than electrical solder which means less worry about parts moving over time.

I really like that the product is so pliable.

My husband has been doing a lot of plumbing work and has had a great deal of difficulty with leaks using other types of solder. He bought this product, in spite of being more expensive than others, and it sealed the leak at the first application. He was very pleased that it did the job.

Worked well for me easy to work with

Seems to be good stuff. Melts/flows OK when using an appropriate flux. I did some basement sink plumbing and outdoor faucet work and completed probably 16-20 separate joints on 1/2 inch copper with this solder. Not a single leak or problem anywhere.

Very good for soldering.

This worked very well for my husband who is trying to get proficient with mapgas.
