I love the flavor and boldness, and especially that it's unsweetened and instant. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A bit more mild than the traditional chai. *by C***R on October 16, 2014* The Blue Lotus Chai teas come in a very small container. If you use a small coffee cup, you will probably get 100 cups, however, because it only takes a bit of this spice to be VERY flavorful. Because I like huge coffee cups, I will get much less than that. I have been enjoying experimenting with the traditional version of this chai. I generally start out the same. About one rounded scoop of the chai spice to about 4 oz of water. I have actually been adding a bit more water than that. My reasoning is to conserve calories. The water and tea probably count as 0 calories. It is what I add that changes the amount of calories. I have been adding "sweeteners" and "milks." Sweeteners I've tried include agave, honey, and brown sugar. My husband is suggesting molasses and maple. For milks I've tried 1% milk, condensed milk (sweetened), and evaporated milk. I may try fat free milk, 2% milk, and cream. Each combination of sweetener and milk has changed the taste of the concoction. I just tried the mint version of this product. Whereas the traditional version is very spicy with pepper, the mint version still has a hint of pepper, but is a little bit less spicy.
