Would this be good to use on watercolour/brush pens for detail, i.e. bubble effect or stars? Or can you still see through it?

You can use this ink with brush pens but I don't know bubble effect or stars or what surface you use it on to be see through. Sorry not very helpful.

Is the black Indian ink 951 waterproof? The other"liquid Indian ink" says non-waterproof.

Yes - I paint watercolour over it and it doesn’t bleed. If the ink says ‘water resistant’, it will run!

Does the gold ink have a smell at all?

I haven’t noticed any smell from inks

Does if dry with a gloss embossed look to it please

No, it’s a lovely ink but it dries matt
